MR build is more of a build for players experienced in the class (chanter) with mainly 2 digit ping and woc 2 and great gears lol (governor,ambassador & hac) doing mr on eac/acd/abg sets ect is abit pointless especially if you don't got shepherd access (however there are some 3 digit chanters out there with full mr but they either mastered the class or are full support and don't attack.

I suggest you try a different build and avoid MR for now until you understand chanter more, chanter alone is a very hard class to master but doing full mr as just starting the class with not so good gears, no woc 2 and not knowing any combos may be to much to handle for new starter.

ma/crit is a op build and a nice starter build if you like to attack/kill - you kill super fast and stun/stumlbe alot and proc alot with gs & debuffs tho seen as you got no mr you will die abit faster but it's a great group/1vs1 build.

Gear really plays a big role in builds.

for example if you had governor gear you could get 2.6k+ mr and 3k+ block without socketing any block parts in your gear (I think).

however if you had ambassador gear or hac or anything under you wouldn't be able to get 3k+ block + 2.6k mr at the same time seen as ambassador doesn't give bonus block like the governor gear does.

Like I said before gear plays a big role in determining your build.

 

Well besides all teh people saying go block ..blah blah blah..yea no...with just Shepard access (or the best pve jewelry) and The new shields + shield mantra + a block helm...you will have 3000 + block with 0 block stones(Way more than you need)....so yea no....the ONLY other thing that could possibly benefit you (which was mentioned above) is a crit staff switch...ma useless in pve omg u noobs...........accuracy ....aww is the mob gona block your attacks??? Q__Q...Crit...MR...Period.

Why mention PvP gears/setups? o_o

 

Mr is a pve gear set up lol.

 

Lets rephrase it this way so you understand. I'm not highlighting MR is not a solid option, just addressing why mention PvP gears for a PvE setup. Unless you're agreeing, you'll need a Governor/Ambassador set to be viable in PvE? As opposed to something like ABG/ACD/HAC, which Jensen mentioned cannot be a viable option. (btw Full MR HAC gives slightly more than Full MR Amba). Also the fact that you'll need Shepherd's Accessories to provide "more" MR as opposed to the better MR stats from Silverine Tokens Accessories?

my chanter set is full shedim, weps shedim ,jewellry shaper, and i have woc2 but I bored pvp, maybe i need little time play support pve beacuse my legion full new player im all time going instance for helping legion
