    Chanters are like punch bags,they dont do dmg,like at all and they are just good at buffing few buffs,idk sup with that class,and they have only 5 skills to attack with and some chains. TROLOLOL fail ncsoft..

    if it's low on damage i'd say fail gamez, i've seen retail chanter pvp vids that deals damage like gladiators...

    also their mantras are like hell...

    People are generally just more squishy on Retail. So yes, we do hit pretty nicely.

    They might just hit hard on cloth/non pvp gears/worse geared opponents and its still not that hard.. But put an abg glad vs an abg chanter and you ll see xd.

    tho retail has less access to high end gears that doesn't mean they deal lesser with equally geared opponents...

    tho generally they are made for support or rather party oriented they still have enough arsenal to act up as secondary tanks mainly for disabling targets (stuns/silence/knockdowns) which is still a pain.

    i'd say that's just gamez

    One word: Cumbe.

    He's the one who inspired me to be chanter. So far no melee class has beaten me (besides Eremes with his troll godstones).

    Anyway one day while trading gear in Pandae I spotted Cumbe who had earlier killed my glad. He was testing dps on an abg plate glad. I swear I've never seen hp drop faster in all my time playing Aion besides when Sorcs dp or glacial crits. It was like a pacman was eating the glad's hp. So I tried it out, and what do you know? Blessing of Wind + 2kdp = 4-5 shot almost any class when you weave.

    When I post my vid you'll see what I mean.
