   1. Grandpa Cron is coming to Velia, Heidel, Calpheon, Altinova, and Valencia City. Just before he starts riding his super sleigh around, gusts of snow will blow to hint you of his appearance!
      
      
   2. Period: 12.20.2017 After Maintenance ~ 12.27.2017 09:00 UTC
      

This basically means that one or more sleighs will start flying around over the cities listed and they drop gifts down onto rooftops or streets and so on. These gifts are only available for ONE(1) player so it is all about who gets there first to claim the present.
Look out for snowing when the event starts, then just run around and try to get to the gifts before someone else.

Yeah it does seem that "Santa is out to lunch" at the moment, but not sure if it is temporary or if it is a major bug yet

Did any of you guys get a drop yet?

 

As of yet I have not seen a sleigh, I have however seen snowfall in the Cities affected by this event, in Altinova there was an NPC walking around in the air high above the city but it looked more like a visual bug than the sleigh and "Santa".

 

I have actually seen the sleigh and also seen a drop, but it was stuck in the air

 

i have seen few flying wagons i thought must be glitch now i know what it is lol

 

Thanks a bunch @pa3ck for those two screenshots, I have not seen it myself yet but then again I have not spent much time in the cities either, with those two screenshots at least we now know what to look for: "is it a plane, it is a bird? Nope it is probably just a visual bug" no longer has to be our standard answer

Too bad about the gifts being stuck in mid air though, bet there were players trying to follow the sleigh around to get one.
