Cleric vs. Chanter?

My sets are full mr and full block, and my mr set is level 50 EGT. So who the hell would? That would be me, meet me on your mage sometime XD.

Btw I've never used attack or crit stones on my chanter and I've always done a hell of a lot more damage than some other chanters, just learn to play the class and don't depend on little things like that.

 

I would put full MR on if I had the ABG chain set as accessories and crit manastones in staff provides more than 540 so you can add full MR to your ABG set.

But what i meant if you'll build your Chnater, will you go Full MR on your First set ?

 

Not on the first set no, my first set was all hp, that way I could last long and learn my skills while people pounded me into the ground :3

well if u rly wanna see MR set then come try duel me once , youll see why.

 

If you are talking about first set as in the Anuhart set then no because I don't believe that the set even at +15 with full MR will provide you with enough magic resist to be worth the time.

Err , i believe a GM stated that Max Crit is'nt 420 or 450 , you can go More . . .

But for me, i'll build My Chanter This Way ,

2 Builds :

1: Hp / Crit Build
2: Attack / Crit Build

It's personal choice really, months ago on my chanter I was always asked which stones I used, and people never believed that I didn't use crit or attack. But that was when stun lock worked well, and my ping was 90 :3. Ahhhh I miss that lmao. If you want to do a lot of damage now, with chanter being slightly nerfed, than crit and attack would be the way to go. But you will realize how much you need block or parry if you pvp on it.

 

Mastarius or Fenris , What else . . . Well Dunno , Have'nt Seen Any Full MR Chanter Before :-s We Could Try ingame tho :unsure:

ofc they work well. . and yes I'm elyos, but I do have a asmo chanter. My set is full block +27, since I also play cleric too, and more often now tbh.

 

Uffff :tongue: templar , not much i can do to templars but weave, and jumpshot my mountain crash and soul strike/inescep judgement, then bind your arse and spam skills hopefully i get a blind and do some dmg for a bit, then back to kiting again XD . Takes a long @ss time though... and having MR set u wont be able to stun/knockdown or effect my speed with your attacks which puts me in an advantage, in addition to me also being faster its also gonna be tough for you to kill me as well :biggrin:

 

Cleric and Chanter cant kill them selves with same grade of gear...

And both of them can do a lot of nice things, like kill a group of 5... or run away from a zerg ^^

 

Well , All i can See on My Templar is , Resist ( Resisting Buffs & Heals from Cleric / Chanter ) Which is Kinda Weird i only See Dodge & Parry . . . but not Block . . . i Thought it was a bug so didnt bother to Report :-? But let me try it again when the server is Up <3 Tnx Btw <3

 

Parry works well for a chanter since there is a sellbuff to up parry and parry on the staff's. I never did try it though, I stuck with hp and then went straight to block cause of my cleric. And yes it's funny when I buff on my cleric and half my party resists it. . I think that's a bug rofl. They don't get the buff cause there mr is too high :3

 

i tried parry back in 1.5, it worked quite well back then but not as it was supposed to, now it should be much more effective. Might give it a try later, i remember glads QQing about their SPC only hitting like 500 dmg lawl...

 

yeah i like cleric...cause heal your self blind the Chanter and use the Noble Summons then Chain of Suffering

its better

 

Yeah I went half on my set in 1.7, and wasn't impressed, but I've seen some people use it, and its quite effective.

 

Lol, I'm pure crit/attack on my Chanter. I'm more into the DPS side of them :3
