Client freezing at server selection. HELP.

Hi,

a friend of mine who i convinced to join me again here on gamez aion is having problems connecting.

When they start the game up they get through the game up until server selection before character creation.
once they try to choose a server (in her case, she chose siel) her client would freeze.

It appears they are still using the 1.5 client so i'd assume a update to 2.1 or something is needed but I haven't been able to find any information whatsoever regarding this.


any help would be appreciated.

If it freeze without any error then you don't have the proper client version...

 

yeah you're right. i'll get my friend to download a more recent bin.32 file.
