John is funniez =). I know an MBA is not that hard to get, but what I am saying is, it is in no way a reason to get admin. Credentials don't get you promoted to CEO. She could have been HIRED for having credentials, but promoting her for them is just plain stupid. I want to hear these achievements albull mentioned also

 

A) Because RG linked me this via msn in hope that I'd respond to his response.

B) His academical achievements are nothing special, he even says so himself.

Yeah, way to reitterate my original deduction based on voice and then go so far as to prove yourself a liar in the same thread which you claimed brilliance.

If you're going to try and run the facade that you are in an advanced educational program, atleast make it believable. Hey I heard that total anonymity on the internet allows everybody to project themselves as they see fit, well...atleast until they open their mouth and prove otherwise.

P.S. there's nothing more to say in this thread, everybody knows chlora needs access and that Carl can't manage a server worth shit, that Karissa is Mandi, and that if I had added a poll on whether or not we (the community) would opt to give Chlora more access, this shit would have been shut down within the hour.

Even though I was born in England I only lived there for 5 years, I currently live in Sweden, therefore it is safe to say that Swedish is now my native language, and the saying "Devil's advocate" is rarely(haven't heard it before) used here, funny how you judge my age based on me being able to recognize a foreign(?) saying. In all honesty, I don't care a lot whether you believe I read modern physics or not, because I can't change your pre-set belief that it's really hard to understand physics. It's not like I'll actually be able to convince you that I do in-fact read modern physics at our uni, since you're so "butt hurt" because I have a different opinion than you regarding Karissa and Carl, shame you can't accept it. I really don't see what you base your deductions off, so far you've pretty much stayed on the fact that I did not know what the term "Devil's advocate" meant. But I can see from all your posts you've made so far that you are indeed mentally ill and you should get a lot of respect for trying.

From what I've seen ingame the majority of players, heck ALL of the players I speak to agree that Chlora should be given more access. Yes this is a free service, however moving against the general communities opinion is never a good idea. I've seen communities go down in less than an hour when its been done. Now I've donated to this server, but right now all it would take for me to leave is for someone to link a nice low rate server thats receiving a constant flow of updates. You know your in the sewers when even your donators are considering leaving. All we are asking is that you listen to the comunity.

You think because Carl gave her some meaningless title and some pathetic position of power we all should automatically bow down to her and treat her with respect? The only thing she has earned is the utter contempt of everyone on this forum; she does nothing with her faux power except stall and delay any sort of progress this server should have. If what is being said is true, she deserves nothing but the exact sentiments that are occurring in this thread.

Everyone already knows Chlora needs more access. Worried he'll break the main server? It's called having backups. Are you guys all brand new to the fuckin world of computers??

Everytime I read this thread I get more laughs. It's so unbelievable that people can be this piss poor at running a game server... A GAME SERVER. This isn't some complicated entrepreneurial venture, it's a freakin Aion server!

Well as Aion private servers go now, even if things get changed, project Aion-Unique has been discontinued officially. So unless we have some really good coders, not sure if we do, that can make their own enhancements and fix bugs for the server, the server could be at a stand-still for quite a while. People on Aion Unique may still be trying to continue the project but they're not official coders that can make releases that are certain to work properly.

I think our main concern should be how this server is going to continue to update with future releases rather than worrying about fighting with each other, lol. Since Aion Unique is behind practically EVERY private server that is running right now. So personally I'd like Carl to announce how he's going to continue the development of this server

 

Well, people can't play nice, people can't stop swearing, people can't stay on topic, so this is now closed, good job Gamez Community, by the way, you don't dictate who does and doesnt get promoted ect...you can suggest it, but there no point in "Telling" people what to do.

Hm... First of all... I created the HeadGM Rank. Therefor... I am indeed the reason for Chlora being promoted.

Also asked Carl to make an actual Developer rank. (Me and Carl on that one.)


Second, Generally, I am the Community to staff personnel.

I do alot of things that make the server run better community wise.

IRC... Mine.

Pushing Carl to start-up the GamezNetwork site and get the forums moved... Mine.

The new unstuck request forum... (Written by Carl, my idea.) I pushed for it.

Guess what?

I get absolutely nothing for doing the work I do.

I do this for YOU guys... Not myself.

Karissa is like my side kick, she was hired to help me keep an eye on the staff when I'm not around or busy with other stuff. She doesn't promote anyone without consulting me and discussing it with me with good reasoning. She also assist me in the development of this server (website, forum, irc...etc) She has done a lot for this community in her spare time so I expect all of you to respect her and stop posting up nonsense. If you have any silly thoughts keep it yourself, it only makes you look rather stupid. Me and Karissa take our job here very seriously so anyone trying to insult us will be banned permanently both in game and on this forum.
