Important Community Poll: Full Stigma System Implementation

4.8This version on the NC official server was originally just a transitional version. Try switching to version 5.8 and see if the Bard is still this powerful. There's no most powerful class, only stronger players.

 

no strong class its depends on player and items . doesn't matter if your full gear or not if you play wised you can win . . im ranger since 2010 many server i played but still kickin

 

People are so worried about the Bard, but they've forgotten that the Templar, besides being invincible, can kill at the same time. What about the Cleric? Full healing and DPS at the same time. Is nobody seeing that? Is the Bard a problem? Yes, but I don't believe that the number of people who voted in favor of full Stigma will actually play bard. I've been playing GameZ Aion for over 10 years and it's always been full Stigma, and even so, there weren't more Bards or Gunners. There were seasons, for example, with many assassins, other seasons with many gladiators, and so etc...

 

I voted for the full stigma system, but we need balance in every class. BARD is not just the OP here if FULL STIGMA is to be implemented. There's running & gunning Gunner, tanky/burst/high damage Aethertech and Templars. Full stigma is ok, but I think there should be a damage recalibration upon those OP damagers.

 

I would add that I respect the Templar; it is true that with full Stigma he is almost impossible to kill because he has too many defensive stigmas; the only solution would be to reduce his increased PvP defense passive.

 

When will the poll close?

 

why add another 4 or 5 stigma slots like the other Aion they have 12 slots of stigma instead 9 in gamezaion

 

since it's a poll, it's only fair to add straight up full stigma without restriction option right?

 

Just make it back to Full Stigma — just like before. Period.

 

i personally left with the update where the new gear and stigma system got introduced becouse i liked the open stigma system and pvp aspects of it with the high adaptabillity and possibility´s it had and i most likely would pick gamezaion back up with the comeback of a fully open stigma system as it was fun but having a fully open stigma system only in specific parts would be confusing and aswell make it difficult to enjoy then anything but those specific parts of it and everything else would be basicly fully ignored and there for i would aswell stick to either fully open across all or retain the standerd aion stigma system instead of any mix version

Real talk though. What's with those voting options ? You're giving players the chance to vote for full stigma getting enabled exclusively in pvp map and battlegrounds which lets be honest, it's the only content this server offer anyway. Open world pvp is dead, arenas are dead (Because ya'll keep neglecting the suggestion of revamping them to give actual rewards) The average aion player these days is mediocre and they don't partake in small scale pvp if they aren't getting rewarded with something in return, they don't go open world to roam around by themselves either unless they're in a full alliance or if they have a heavy reason to go out like the snowflake events previously hosted which takes me back to my previous statement, no reward = no pvp. Pve ? Dead, this server offers no pve content whatsoever (Don't wanna read Olaf saying makarna requires skill to do) instance doesn't work in this server and it's supposed to be end game content.

Bottom line, if you're considering in bringing full stigma system back might as well just enable it everywhere, I'm not a fan of it and I hold utmost contempt towards it since it makes wheelchair classes like bards and AT unkillable, but it makes no sense gatekeeping it from content that people don't even do either. If anything chances are something is going to get broken in the process as it seems to be a ritual in this server with every big update. Might as well just rollback stigmas as they were in previous seasons and give people what they keep asking for.

 

They should lower the SW's damage and the SM's fear accuracy. I have a full MR set and those characters still deal heavy damage and control. It's like there's no damage sacrifice for control.
I'm new here; there weren't any full Stigmata when I arrived on this server. But it's pretty boring with so much Zerg, and also because the Legion hogs the boss and doesn't give League.

Some players want the full stigma system because of inbalance class. However, this is a good move to make a poll on which the players decide wether to stay stigma system or full stigma. Let's just respect the result and enjoy the game. ❤

 

I really like the initial plan of alternating the stigma system each season. Let's people have a preference and experience both systems and pick and choose if they want to go hard on the rat race because of this or that reason.

I think acknowledging the likelihood of class imbalances is very important from one stigma system to the other, and if there were adjustments made that kept everyone happy and everything fair, that would be great. Striking that balance is probably very hard though.

 

I agree with this,since its a poll,its missing the option of opened full stigma with no restrictions

And from what i've been seeing,its the option that the majority wants,gamez always was like that
And just like me i belive that with that option,too many are willing to comeback to gamez

 

I am sure this will be confusing, but only in the beginning. Our goal is to accommodate both sides, and at this point, the options included in the poll are designed to let players benefit from the best of both worlds simultaneously.

You are missing the point that this poll is meant to satisfy both sides.

 

I think there will be a steeper curve to getting comfortable with having duel stigmas systems overlapping eachother than is being acknowledged here. Duel in sanctum with closed stigmas. Que TvT's and get FSS again. I could be off base, but the majority of Aion players are in their 30's now. Or older. There's alot of muscle memory thats involved in the skill expression of the game. Changing available combos and answers to situations in pvp from 1 mode to another sounds very jarring to me. I know myself, and will certainly struggle with this.

Im not beating a drum, demanding anything here. Just anticipating some friction with the proposed idea. Perfectly willing to give it a shot and be open minded. Will there be some tracking involved? Like, will you be able to see data surrounding participation on events with FSS or CSS (full vs classic stigmas systems) and if you see a huge swing one way or another that would indicate general preference? Or see if there is a split of classes. Perhaps Rangers would avoid all FSS events while bards might skew towards specifically FSS ones.

 

Don't over complicate this for god's sake. One season stigma system, next full stigma. You guys had it right in the beginning.

Let's be real, you hardly addressed any of the imbalance issues since the server opened, i don't think anyone is expecting you to start now.

The top end of competitive PvP is already cooked from various game massive bugs (Aerial Lockdown resulting in players blinking, AT getting a free full heal, etc), they will still be cooked with full stigmas. Full stigmas is more fun and will bring people back to this server as it is what they loved about Gamez.

If the server gets 500+ people again, then there will be a good soup of various skill levels that can fully enjoy playing with and against each other.

 

We are not from retail servers, We are from gamezaion and gamezaion is a full stigma system. We have been playing this game since 2010 until now even with 250ms ping XD I dont know who's complaining about itss full stigma system maybe he's from retail. We only need regenerating manastone that has magic suppression like Crit strike +19/Magic suppre +20 maybe haha
