Connection problem..

A friend of mine has a connection problem with the server siel.

When she tryd to connect to siel she get a error message : cannnot connect to the authorization server bla bla bla..
and when she tryd to connect to lumiel everything is ok..

why cant she connect to the server siel?.
she has windows 8, she also replaced in the bin32 map with the link from smartik.

 

My fix is different, it is for the "no server available to the authorization server" error. If it only happens for one of the servers, it is not a client issue, so there is no need to touch any files. My guess is she is experiencing the old server switching bug. So far the best option is to keep trying to get on that server until it works (took me 9 disconnects till it worked once back when I tried it). The other option used by AMs long ago was to afk on server select for like 10 mins and then connect, though lately people said they get afk disconnect while doing that so not sure it works anymore. Honestly if she wants to play both servers I would probably suggest a 2nd account. Changing servers is a nightmare here.
