Connection to the Server has been lost (Channel swapping)

Each time i attempt to switch between channels, there is around an 80% chance that doing so will immediately dc me from the servers, which crashes my game. When this happens, I am forced to wait the full 15 minute channel cooldown, while restricted to my original channel. Ex. I see a boss is coming in 20 minutes on channel 2. I am on channel 1, and I am able to switch channels. I go to the menu to swap channels, click on channel 2, and it says waiting to swap channels. Then my game crashes to title screen with the error in the title. Then when i relaunch the game, it treats it as if I had switch, and thus enacts the cooldown timer, but I would only have access to channel 1.

This is extremely frustrating, as even if I wait the cooldown outside of the game, with the client and launcher completely closed, when i return I can still not access the intended channel. I have yet to be able to do a single boss, because of this channel hopping issue. I have talked to my guildies, and they do not experience this issue, which leads me to believe my network is potentially having issues. The fact that I can play for hours at a time with no DC otherwise leads me to think against that notion though. If someone was having this issue before and fixed it, i would much appreciate advice.


Edit 1: To this day, I am completely unable to join channel 2. Even after completely killing the client. I will await a server restart before trying again, and will update this post when i do so
