Want to improve the server?

1. Get rid of the full stigma tree system...
2. Merge the 2 servers...
3. Implement retail like pvp zones...
4. Keep the same high rate.

Gamez Aion should be exactly like retail, just high rate!

That way we can have at least 2 am OL in all time zones, that would reduce hackers on the server improve gaming experience, and breaking the full stigma would balance out the pvp.



And just to add!! We can all wait for 3.5 if the dev's would just do what I wrote above.

an upgrade // improvement to the server and gaming experience is much more valuable to us Gamerz then the damn 3.5 update! The HAC gear the new extends and the new costumes can wait...

1./2. You have an option on which server would you prefer, either Full stigma tree (Siel) or Stigma System (Lumiel). Merging 2 servers will absolutely cause big zergs,unless no new PvP maps will get implemented.

The point is BALANCE... TEMP's RANGER's SORCC's dominate the server...
breaking the full stigma would encourage PPL to play smarter enjoy the Game more and Boost the player Rate in Gamez AION 10 fold!

With this being said and lumiel's population being utterly dead, I concur.
They should implement the stigma system in siel or merge both servers and open more maps to pvp, people would use the arenas and dredgions.

 

o.o if someone was paying you thousands of dollars a month im pretty sure you would figure out how to fix something others have fixed before wouldnt you?(i rest my case.)

 

This thread was re-opened just becaurse we want to listen to some valid and usefull suggestions. If this discussion is going to degenerate into a randoom off-topic spam (like "very greedy server, they dont care about us") then we will just close it again.
We are open for suggestions, just try to be realistic.

 

It would be really nice if Carl dropped by to say if he was listening or not.

If we know he's going to read what we write, we're more likely to remain civil and put some productive ideas forth.

 

The nature of PvP reflects the nature of human behaviour, some actions we take are a glimpse of culture and social influences. Most people fear been isolated and singled out hence the zerg/mob-like behaviour. The more people, the more anonymous you become and the greater this presence becomes. This explains the tendency of players grouping together like a flock of sheep.

Can this zerging be dissolved? Most definitely. Even a slight change in environment can cause evident changes in behaviour. All that's missing is the vital initiative.

Any rational mind can figure out the state of PvP on Siel/Lumiel is becoming a loop. To put an end to this nonsense, players have given their suggestions repeatedly, mind you, they're very realistic and plausible ones too. Unfortunately the people with the power to end the repetitive cycles is ignorant. People posting in the past FEW threads are trying to HELP the server. Player wouldn't have responded to those threads if they didn't care. Instead it is the opposite, the admins are ones who never respond, clearly showing they don't care at all.

 

Seriously. Aion is such a great game and as a private server, we have the ability to pick the good things, keep them, and delete the bad things. It's really sad to see so much wasted potential.

I wish the owner of Gamez were a different person. Will someone rich buy Gamez from Carl so we can have some nice things?

The thing is you're right. "Admins" will never comment on threads like this regardless if they care or not. Maybe "1" admin but never the "admins" Only thing that always happens is, someone comes in, says something to defend themself without giving any kind of answer to any of the questions. We might get a probably in the near distant future(which would be never ofc) or something of this nature but a true answer to something we all have been begging/crying/going on about for years, no.

 

You do know that even if they add the Eye gate in the middle of temple of gold/sanctum's afk room nobody will go there right?
People are just used to gelk/ing and you can't force them to move (alright spawning 50 boss mobs would do the trick but then they'd just log out)

 

I would like it if:

All arenas and dredgion were opened with no cd and no tickets required. (group arena, FFA, and 1v1)

People who zerg (hard) in the open world pvp and consistently do it are jailed.
Jail enough people for zerging and eventually they'll think twice about it.

Stop with 'retail like' and implement as many custom PVP features as you can. This is what the server is meant to be. Add commands to instant join instanced PVP such as .1v1, .tvt (team vs team), .tia for pvp in the eye etc etc. The possibilities are limitless when you're dealing with a private server. They should be taken advantage of.

My advice to anyone making decisions about this sort of thing, don't EVER decide not to try something because 'people might complain'. If this was the mindset of devs then the server never should have been opened. No matter what you do someone will find a reason to complain about it. The day you let that affect whether or not you try something new is the day you stop improving.



Unrelated completely ludicrous and unreasonable request: revert all 10% silence and blind godstones to 5% with golden animations. Forget about the QQ, just do it. If anyone was striving for retail-like this killed it instantly. No one on earth ever played retail and said, you know, I think this game needs more RNG.
