    ok here's my new answer bcuz my first answer was already said by someone soo maybe : the milkman was the only male so maybe The doctor and lawyer were females so the cop knew that John was the milkman

    a lawyer is trying to solve the case

    Thats using an answer that even more people have used xD

    Still, dont worry about it. Its an open contest, you can use someone elses answer too, as long as you actually put some thought into it and agree with it (and not just looking at what people say and copy/pasting)

    The milkman because the doctor, and the lawyer were females, so the cop knew that "john" was the milkman...

    The way I picked these is that you said the phrase " milkman is the only male" or similiar .. I didn't go for the whole answer which is what it is above.
