Dark Rift Boss Damage

It seems that after the latest server update (3/12/2020) the dark rift boss damage has been raised significantly. The specific boss I am referring to from personal experience is Moghulis, but others in chats have confirmed other bosses as well.

 

Nobody wants to read the patch notes anymore, huh? It's an event.

Code:

* The Dark Rift will enter Violent Phase for the following period of time. The boss monsters appearing from Dark Rifts during this phase will be stronger. Once this phase ends, the Dark Rifts and the monsters will grow weaker.

* The following monsters will become significantly stronger during this phase and their rewards will also get significantly better:
- Giath
- Dastard Bheg
- Gehaku
- Moghulis

* The following monsters will appear about 30% faster during this phase:
- Giath
- Dastard Bheg
- Gehaku
- Moghulis
- Ancient Puturum
- Ahib Griffon

 

I fought Ruins Guard Tower and he one shot my 319 DP Valk with one of his attacks, I even had a +30 DP buff from a quest. Red Nose was also doing some insane damage. Neither on that list.

Now, this was all when they were at III or V, I fought Muskan at I, and he did jack shit. So, maybe just higher difficulty tiers. I have Ronin nearing the lowest level, might go see what damage he does.



I'm actual cool with the high damage. No longer brain dead face tank fights.

 

No need to be a prick at all. You automatically assume I didn't read the patch notes at all, but I always do. Below is a copy of the patch notes from the huge 141 page document I read. No where does it contain the descriptive deadly damage that you replied with. Maybe there's a secret patch notes file that people like you have access to so you can try to attack other people.

●      Dark Rifts all around the world have expanded and their energy levels are spiking. Scholars are trying to figure out why this is happening, but so far they've only learned their energy repeatedly expands and shrinks.

○      The following Dark Rift monsters will emerge as Very Hard versions with the equivalent level of rewards.

■       Moghulis

"Very Hard" versions are what I always attack them at. Imagine my surprise to find that it means an "elevated" very hard version when the patch notes I read say nothing like that.

 

If you did read it all, then you should know. I'm not being prick, but the game, forum and telegram are full of questions of ppl that don't mind to read the notes, but they had a lot of time to complain and make dumb questions. Imagine write a big patch note so that everybody could keep asking, it sucks. And I didn't saw anyone complaining about that, maybe you just dont have the required GS because I did all of those, and it was fine, stronger, but fine.

 

Either way, you can make a bug report in the correct section so you could get a word from the dev itself.

 

Well, that solves it. You nailed the issue, my gear score. I mean, I didn’t just previously state that I always do them on very hard difficulty, or did I? In order to do that, my gear score must be sufficient. I guess you are just a godly player that doesn’t die like all the other people that agreed with me and died liked I did. It does seem that you have a superiority complex and assume everyone else is dumb and lazy, which begs the question...if you don’t have an actual, factual answer, why even reply at all?

 

Well I did, and the answer was the event. You're just too emotional about not reading patch notes. Whatever.
