Dead Island

What I had tried to say is this:

Shops don't reset their inventory instantly. For example, in Borderlands there would be a game-wide announcement that shops had reset their stock every 15 minutes. In dead island there is no announcement, but obviously the shops don't always keep what they have when you first see them.

I haven't figured out yet if its on a timer or an event table, but I know it doesn't reset on logout. It usually does reset after you do major quests, but that could just be the factor of being away from the NPC for a certain amount of time.

Either way, until an NPC changes what its selling, you should still be able to buy stuff you sold to the NPC back from it for the original price. I haven't checked this, but based on how most games are and how DI should be, I can safely assume that it does work like that.

With that in mind, you probably had 15-30 minutes after logging out to buy back your sword from the NPC, because regardless of closing out of the shop window, that isn't enough to reset it, nor is logging out, so it should have been there for a decent amount of time.

Its helpless now to try to do anything about it, but keep that in mind in-case you repeat the same mistake in the future, you should have plenty of time to fix said mistake.

got a question.red, pink, and black skulls are just legends or are they real?

i just got the first 3 skulls, green brown and purple, and now after i get the other 2 im thinking of those 3, but idk if they are real, couse some say they are, some say they arent.

also, whats that yellow bar under the health? i still didnt get what it does.

 

I've never heard of those other skulls, but the yellow bar is your exp

i quited dead island my last save went broke and i do not have a back up of it from an earlyer date so basicly my 54h playtime , rank 50 and the most epic weapons are gone. They say it's because my storage jin is full but i can't clean it so i'm done with it now. ****ing shit i'm to lazy to start over lol. unless they fix it

When i press continue with logan (lvl 50) jungle is loading and then > Dead Island.exe has stopped working and i can create new ones without problem. but fk it lol soon BF3 comes out and dead island is a game FULL FULL FULL of glitches anyway.

i'm enjoying my BF3 beta now and Aion and some other games. soon i maybe start over on dead island when bloodbath arena DLC comes out , but till then. nope thanks

i did on steam. because in my country the retail special edition was no longer available and on steam it was still
but that has nothing to do with it , i went to the dead island forums and alot people are having this.
besides me and a friend found tons of glitches and we laughed our as off , even duping still works lmao.

yea well , alot of people have the same problem as me , they put alot of shit into storage (duped items or not who cares) if it has more then <x> ammount of stacked items your last saved game will become corrupt and then your ****ed. so becareful..
