    By then scientists will know for sure if it will impact or not and if it will we can send a team led by Bruce Willis up to the asteroid to drill a hole in it to implant a nuclear bomb that will split it in half and cause both halves to narrowly miss the Earth.

    As for December 21, if anything does happen, it will most likely be a solar flare or gamma ray burst that could cause a lot of trouble but won't kill everyone. I'd make preparations with things such as a disaster prepardeness kit(which everyone should have anyways) but so far it's not much you really need to freak out over.
