Agreed, I am working on getting transferred to a Mod position before the baby is born so people get adjusted to the idea, but I think Carl is waiting on that ...But definitely we need more Mods.. Ones who don't play favorites either or pick sides.

Also.. I think with approval from Bryne or Carl... Might make rules for each forum section. I've been making spreadsheets for gamez to help make it easier to keep track of things.. Maybe i should help with the rules too...

I'm like slowclap.gif @ whoever did not get the reference to a certain AM who was starting drama by warning users for starting drama; when they weren't.

 

People who care about signature size need to get off their notebook and get on something that can actually play the game this privateserver is designated for.

I agree, fully, that WALLS shouldn't be allowed. But srickt against those PUNY and horrendous limitations?

That is horrid, especially considering most of my work looks best when not shrunk to disgusting levels.

 

We do need more moderators.

Beast is active considering how much he's been working, and he's a good mod.

We do have a lot of good people who applied recently though. I threw my thanks in for Terror, and Lucent. o.o

 

what you guys need for this community is guys and girls that aren't sheep, those that don't lick others arses.. those that can think and act for themselves without having to sniff and couple of arses before acting. if this community to rise above others then start recruiting those that want to help, and are willing to give up a portion of their free time not those that want to get their noses further up someone else's arse hole.

Take for example, Bellalicious, she is a young mother, she has children of her own.. she knows how to act and take responsible actions when/ if required. she is a kind/ warm hearted individual and a good GameMaster..

Take for example, Angal.. she/ he is a child, making incorrect decisions, was told about a duping method and was instructed to inform Alente.. guess what happened.. he/ she didn't tell Alente.

There is a possibility that this method is still being used today, and guess what.. ITS EASY TO FIX

Thread cleaned, stay on topic and knock off the trolling/spamming. Also @ OP and everyone else. You do raise a couple of good concerns and it's nice to see some constructive criticism without any whining and QQing. We do what we can.

I personally have been extremely busy with work the past two weeks and haven't been able to be as active as I wanted to be(12-14 hour days 6 days a week and no unencrypted wireless networks around) but that's going to change now as I'm getting moved to part time so I'll be able to be more active on forums again. I've also been lacking a couple of the mod powers that I really need as Alente should have updated them a long time ago but he never got around to doing it and now pretty much the only person who can do that is Carl.

Also keep in mind that people DO get warned and that you can't see when another player is warned/infracted. I personally don't worry too much about sigs unless its obvious they're too big as I've got better things to do than to closely examine everyones sig to make sure they fit within with the 500x200 size range and then make a huge deal whenever is sig is 501 by 201.

Now with that being said I do assure you that I have warned a LOT of players who have had oversized sigs and that the majority fixed them without any problems.

And I definitely don't play favorites. I have given countless warnings/infractions to friends who made posts that were against the rules in one way or another and a couple were even autobanned for an infraction I gave, nor do I pick on anyone and start deleting their posts and giving them warnings/infractions just because I don't like them or because I disagree with their posts.

Like I said earlier it is refreshing to see a thought out constructive criticism thread with some legitimate concerns especially when most people just QQ when a mod or GM does something they don't like

You are still missing the point guys. You see the tree but you cannot see the forest that is behind it... I'm so disappointed.

You all stuck about the 501 x 201 signatures but what about the ones who contain sexual pictures? What about the ones who contain insulting pictures towards Gamez community or any other member of it?

Besides, the signatures, it was just an example you know... But you didn't even get it! Sad to see it... There are many others violations of the rules. So, if you want to be a Mod, you cannot say: "it's okay to do this or that because I'm just too bored to bother with it"

No, you just cannot do it. If you make the rules and do not follow them, then please tell me what is the point of their existance? o.o

 

Use the report option next to everyones posts when you feel someone is violating a rule, whether it be flaming, insulting other members or staff, sig violations, posting inappropriate pics or whatever and they can be investigated. It actually is a good system and I personally handle at least half a dozen reports a day and thats with my current work schedule. Yes we need to be more aware of whats going on but that the same time keep in mind that we have lives and other things going on and helping us out by reporting suspected offenders will make everyones time a lot easier

Who cares about sigs? xD They don't hurt anyone tbh. The gm's here in this server do what they can, mostly. Ofcourse, i could complain about a few... outy:
