Solved "Downgrading" Gamez

Heya folks, since I want to play on retail again, in addition to gamez of cause, I planned on getting a copy of my aion folder and set it up for the retail servers again... but how?
Neither the guide threads got me further, because the "Downgrade" thread was broken, nor did the search function net me anything useful.
So I'd like to post the question here, I hope it's appropriate and the staff won't take this as an offense.

There is no need to downgrade your retail client, as far as I know. Just make a copy, install the Gamez Client (http://gamezaion.com/Gamez Aion Installer.exe) into your Aion folder and it should work.

 

What I meant was, Downgrading from Gamez to retail again, since I forgot to make a copy of my retail folder.
So now I'm left with only a gamez aion folder, but I can't connect to retail anymore.^^

I do believe that you just need to file repair your NA Client and then you will be able to play retail again. Unfortunately I do not know how to remove the Gamez client out of the folder, but as soon as you have fixed the version of your NA client, it shouldn't be a problem to log in and play on retail again.

 

Repair didn't work, I tried that before posting here^^

Nah of course not an error, it just still gives me the gamez aion servers, not the retail ones.

 

Check your inbox, sent you a PM.

 

Delete Bin32 (for those server files) and Data folder (For items.pak changes). Then delete anything with the words "Gamez" on it in the main folder (To get rid of the Launcher and that fun stuff). Then Delete the "Version.ini" file(To force the repair to give you the latest one). Then repair the client and all the deleted content will force the NCSoft Launcher to give you the latest folders and files that you deleted.

After the repair, use the "Aion" shortcut to start the retail client.​
