Drop rates/ mob clear rate

I quit gamezbd awhile ago because the nerfs got so bad it felt worse than retail and the market was a mess. I remember they increased mob tankiness which made grinding slow and drop rates were awful.

Have these issues been addressed? Because Im considering to return to the server.

 

Hello Skeeze, I do hope that you will return but the "problems" described above, seem a lot more like speculations than actual facts.

As far as we know, I am not a part of the staff by the way, the developers of GamezBD just "copy/paste" retail server settings. So if the retail servers make changes to drop rates, monster stats, or anything that would actually impact the game, in such a way that it could be felt, it is most likely due to what is going on there.

You do have to remember that "feeling like drop rates are lowered" isn't actually factual. Also it is extremely difficult to quantify the drop rates, since you would need more than 10.000 data points, from the same source, in order to make predictions on drop rates.

With regards to the combat system, it is true that there were some problems with adopting the retail system here on GamezBD, at least that was what I was told by Kolka, so they are using a modified or custom combat system. That might be the reason things feel different here on GamezBD.

If you like the game Black Desert Online, that should be enough motivation to come play the game here at GamezBD, since this is the very best server project out there.
