god i agree with u, its so awful lol, it costs like 2k credit to buy full eat set, when one part goes for 1.5k credit

This is a post about possible fixes for dupes. If you have nothing to decent to say then STFU :devil:

I dont have clue how to get even ONE gold medal, but as long you can earn silver medals by doing events, it would be very unfair when they would be wiped... ffs!

 

wtf. . . this is a pvp server not retail. The medals arn't the problem, it's called people duping them that is. In my opinion they should have medals available in the game that way people can get a pvp set easily. Cause um duh, it's a pvp server.

It's not surprising that everyone wants pvp gear, since it's a pvp server and a pvp game, and the fact that medals are an integral part of the game, considering the developers made them and included them for obvious reasons.

The only thing this server needs is to fix their duping problem, it's a bug like any other, and what's sad, is that it's always ignored. Until now that is, when it's so widespread.

 

Good to see that someone is understanding the problem... not like 99% of the ppl who are just repeating the text of the guy above him.

 

If we wipe medals, we will take gold and silver alike. Duping is unfortunately a problem in every mmo. People will always find a way and we will always have this problem. All we can do is try to patch the easiest methods.

 

Even if you do that, it won't erase the many, many EAT/EGT sets that I'm sure are out there. That's all people sell now, it's all people buy now. So unless you can convince Carl to do a complete server wipe, which btw he would probably never jepordize the cashflow from the server into his wallet, good luck with that. Erasing the medals is just another patch over the real problem.

 

Let me state that i am 100% anti-dupe, but i am also 100% against hurting players who earned their stuff in a normal way.

I fully agree on this... Removing medals is just ignoring the real problem (people who dupe).

 

We will not be doing a server wipe. That is out of the question entirely. We are aware of the problem of using duped medals to buy pvp armor. But removing them would have the benefit of preventing further sets from being created from this method. I am as frustrated as you are at the lack of progress, believe me.
