well generally people wanna change colors, sometimes they have a pretty good idea too, but the armor looks totally different than they expected with the dye

not all parts of the armor get dyed, but people cant know which ones do till they try also affects how the color will look in the end

tried to //dye pink my cloth gear once to make it look gay for fun xD actually ended up more purplish and kinda cool, but not even pink lol

 

Nah.. I liked them, but then I found out they don't look good with any of the clothes I already have :$ But.. not that crazy about them either lol

 

buy clothes that fit with the shoes then? xD jk lol

but yeah similar issue with wasted money as we have here

should add a couple of 100 new people that keep asking how to dye that //dye doesnt work and look disappointed that it costs so much and they cant use it lol

think of it as giving them charity money might make u feel a little better lol

 

it usually takes 2-3 tries to get color you want.

If player is indecisive then (s)he'll pay more. Thats normal.

if the color looks different than it should, thats not his fault i mean if u say pink, it should be pink lol, but it aint
the same as the fact that not all parts of the armor get dyed and it looks quite horrible when some parts stay original but u get a new color that really doesnt match added to it

these are all preset colors for //dye command.

those are from server's sources. you can look up for dye.java file in any of open source projects

 

If this was implemented I'd go around with a macro and make everyone seizure //dyepreview blue //dyepreview green //dye preview yellow... etc etc
