EA vs EP on Glad

Hi all,

For all Elite arbiter plate is for Glad and Elite Principal plate is for temp ( couse arby have parry and ep block)

On normal retail only character whit shield can benefit from block. (http://gameguide.na.aiononline.com/aion/Block)

I heard some rumours on gamez there is block have effect whitout shield. But it think isnt possible. Only if gamez changed this.

 

with EA your parry skills show up much more otherwise with EP they just work if you pop Wall of Steel but if you change to mace and shield also Defense Preparation you can Block a lot... is rly fun and useful if you have them in Macros and know the right time to use it also if you play templar too go for EP...

 

I normally use EP just because if I want to play Templar, I can, and if I want to be defense in gladiator vs a sin or other glad then I can use mace and shield and it will help much much more than an EA set. Getting the extra parry doesn't increase it by any amazing amount that would help, plus you can use wall of steel if you want to parry more. However I don't believe it will help if you don't have a shield equipped on the EP set.

 

EA=Glad=parry
EP=Temp=Block

 

EA is good for Glad and EP good for temp so that temp can tank 10ppl or 1ally

 

I prefer using EP in glad. Like what @Dementa seru said. I can feel the block more than the parry tho.

 

Um what sin do you need to fight with a shield on glad? Glad don't need shield to fight sin with either set unless you that weak type gladi that smash keys.

 

Without parry you can do a few thing first run around the arena second weave as fast a you can. :3

 

I can do better with block.
