OK. So EAC Chain Set is totally bugged. My Chanter on ABG has about 2120 MR (on staff) and when I pop EAC...it drops to 2097. Too lazy to meticulously compare the MR of each ABG part to the EAC part but simply put EAC SHOULD give more MR (a quick glance comparison will tell you that).

Little demonstration (forgive the part at 00:55 my fingers totally went AWOL on the keypad):

My friend Cazar also tested this with this EAC Set, same problem. Coupled with the fact EAC gives less physical defence than ABG (in the bottom half of the stats) funny how EAC is termed the best set :3

    Totally worth it? o,O

Good video,i hope they ll fix it..

Might try the eac plate set later,to see if it is also bugged.

I'm curious where and when you tested this.

Just tried flicking between ABG and EAC chain on Siel and noticed a 4.97% increase in MR which was exactly what was expected based on the gear stats.

Like literally barely 1h ago and Veteron as you can see in the video (but I first noticed this when I was in Heiron).

Tried over and over, tried relogging, tried asking my friend if he's the same. Still lowered MR.

Going through the system now I think I've found the issue.

    You're actually bug abusing heh.

    Working on a fix.

Can you tell us what is the bug and how to prevent it? Because i do remember having more MR with my eac chain over my abg chain. And when luvlee told me that his eac was giving less MR i was like NO WAY DUDE it gives more.. But when i tried it it also gave me less mr (earlier 1h ago).. But i remember a week ago when i was pvping with my cleric i am pretty sure that my eac was giving more mr than my abg.. So what exactly is the bug here?

It's a legacy issue from an old bug.

Not something you can prevent and the bug itself has already been patched (quite awhile ago)

We just need to run some cleanup on our end. Probably do that next restart so expect a 10-15 minute downtime.
