Edixoid's Application for uhh...stuff o.o

(note - this is a very long, very serious application, please try not to skip over too much stuff, but I do apologize for typing so much ;o its kinda what I do xD)

How long I've been a part of the Gamez Community: Almost 7 months now.

Timezone: Eastern Standard Time, GMT-5

Availability: I go to sleep usually around 2-3 AM and wake up somewhere around 9-11 AM each morning, anywhere between that I'm almost always on and I'm constantly logged into IRC. I play WoW, but its quieted down enough that I have time to do other stuff to all throughout the day and I constantly visit the forums.

Okay so, what am I applying for, you might ask? Several things, actually. I'm applying for some things that there isn't even an app format of any sort for, so I'm just going to put it in one large application. The positions I would be interested in are as follows:

• IRC Operator - this isn't really much to ask at all, I would only need access to the #GamezStaff channel. I doubt you really need an IRC operator anyways really, but as it stands I'm already still an operator from before I resigned in the #GamezNetwork channel and somehow I got unbanned from GamezStaff. I'd be able to watch to make sure non-staff didn't get in the channel since I'm on almost all day and I have dual monitors to constantly watch what happens in IRC. (Theres really no need for a usergroup for this either)

• Moderator - Many people should know I'm a former super moderator and I was always there whenever there was urgent need for something to be closed or deleted or someone needed to be banned etc. etc., most moderators remember coming to me and I could solve almost anything they needed help with in an instant. I am also an extremely nice and forgiving moderator, with patience to clean threads instead of just delete them which a lot of users would probably be fairly happy with.

• Community Manager/"Adviser" - Ok now I know most people are going "wat?", well its really not that bad. As a former HGM and HDEV of GamezWoW with complete access to the GamezWoW dedicated server, I think I've proven myself in trustworthiness and professionality. For this position I wouldn't want anything or any power in Aion, despite that all the past Community Managers were well known as Admins. All I'd really want is to be an adviser to the high-ups and help them watch over/observe staff and also help select new staff. This would potentially speed up the process of getting new faces in staff and keeping all staff in the best possible attitude as well as making sure its known when certain people deserve promotions and when others may need das boot. Being that I created the idea of HGMs keeping notes on how good each member of staff was doing (which I hope the HGMs have been doing ), I don't really think this position is asking for any more than what I had before I resigned, without all the powers that someone could possibly abuse. (Again, all I'd really need is well, access to IRC, forum moderation privileges and private staff forum access, nothing like any powers whatsoever in Aion, no dev abilities, no free items, no computers, etc. )

So those are things I can think of that I would be willing to do, and I guarantee you would not be disappointed if you hired me to any of those ;o

A bit more about me (though you should already know most of this) - I've been around Gamez since around the end of May, I was quickly well known almost immediately after registering on the forums the first time and I've been hanging around the forums since. I was hired not too long after Crystal was made, alongside Angal, Mesmar, and Bryne, and did not quit when pretty much the entire Crystal staff left, but instead quit a bit later due to general boredom of Aion. About 2-3 weeks later I came back to help out after lots of people including Alente and Albull left, and stayed for a long time up to becoming HGM before again leaving due to general boredom of Aion and the fact that WoW was coming out. Both times, I left on good terms and didn't ragequit or anything, or steal any computers (as much as I love and respect Alente, the computer thing is fun to poke jokes at xD). So what makes this time different? I'm not applying for Aion, I have never before completely left the forums, and I don't plan to until the forums die out D:

Anyone that knows me knows I'm patient, nice, and helpful. My reputation on Lucent as well as my history on Edixoid as a GM and a moderator should attest to this, and even though I've yelled at Karissa countless times, I'm sure if you talked to her she could also attest to my normal kindness and loyalty :3

I'm not asking for much, as ingame/database privileges are about the most someone can ask for imo, and I don't want either of those, but I do really miss having a position on staff and more specifically, an authoritative position including close contact with the higher ups in which i can directly benefit the server and add the most potential to it as I personally possibly can.

I would like to add on to my app that after being in #gameznetwork today and seeing what #gamezstaff is like sometimes, IRC operator REALLY wouldnt be near as useless as some people might think. I won't go into details, but holy christ, what has IRC become to the staff? x.x
