Elemental Def

I'm a sorcerer and today I've noticed that when I CC someone my damage is way lower.
I know that CC increase elemental def, but It would increase in 50%?

I think is kinda high, not sure, but I cant cast a 7k glacial anymore, only 3k o.o'
Its hard for a sorcerer cast any skill with high cast time w/o CC :S

So, is this correct?

I'ts simple. For exemple, Curse of roots says the enemy has its elemental def increase after it. But I think its bugged cause its increasing 50% and cant be like that, is too high. If you hit 5k with some skill before curse of roots, you will hit only 2.5k after enemy CC'ed. Even in mobs that is happening :O

yep that is problem but i think other problem is with elemental def scrolls i think every1 should be able to use only 1 scroll not for all elements just like sorc can use only 1 buff from his 3

 

It is actually working correctly. IfCHA look at the description of the skill it says that it raises the targets elemental defence by 500. At 1000 it is a full mitigation of all of the damage done so if 1000 = 100% reduction then 500 = 50% reduction, neh? 5K normally would hit for 2.5k on a target under curse of roots due to the increase in elemental resist; it is one of the very few things working right in gamez.

 

This is why you use Big magma eruption or something like that when he's in Curse of roots,then after a second you start casting glacial shard,the curse of roots will be removed by the magma eruption and you'll hit him with your glacial shards full power o.o
