Elyo Hacker?

I deleted my old post and combined some of the information so the argument is easier to read. I need help figuring out HOW this Sorc's stats are possible w/o hacking:

I've run into this sorc several times over the past two days (never prior according to my log file). I'd love to know how it is possible that she resists big shots, has massive dps and never misses a shot (because looking at the math using the game formulas it does not appear to be possible to do what she does).


Battle #1 (a base line to get MR because battle 2 was so outrageous! I expected to lose this fight, no hacks here this is to establish a baseline for battle 2)

(This is where I died, fair and square, I cast through COW because I couldn't pot and I wanted to inflict as much damage so my guildie could finish her off)

MATH TIME:
(Mr-caster MA)/8 = % resist [This is the formula for MA/MR from: http/forum.gameznetwork.com/showth...tats-explained and I'm going to assume its true because it holds on here and in retail

(Mr +300 [buff]) - 1900 (my rounded down)) /8 = 14.3 (based on above combat log 1/7)
Using algebra to solve for MR that means that his MR could be 1714

Ah, ok, 1714, I've got an MA of over 1900 so I should be able to fire off two nukes before her buddies can kill me, so let's see what happens in battle 2:

How on earth did this sorc resist my flame spray!? Well lets look at the math here, again, i'm using 1714 based on the evidence I have from battle 1

Now, without the buff (using this information to prove my original claim):
(MR - caster MA) / 8 = % resist my flame spray 2 w/o the buff
(1714 - 1900) / 8 = % to resist my flame spray in the 2nd encounter (first log post)
= -23.214% (note the negative out front)


So here is a sorc that nukes through people, never misses a cast (no one resists) and has so MUCH MR that I can't even tough her in the second battle. Even though (according to the formula posted in the forums I should be guaranteed a hit).

Things I checked for:
No chanter chants, no elemental screen, no templar's using bodyguard. No super amazing mr food buffs. No shields up (because she was already bleeding from other people hitting on her).

So how does someone hit like a mac truck, never miss, and have super amazing spell resist?
