Error After Click Start Game

Hello Guys, atm im trying play GameZ. But a error keep in my computer

im tried:
* Disable Anti-Virus, Firewall
* Force Check
* Put in Exception folder
* un-check read only

please help me

 

Try this and see if it works:

• Open launcher settings, click the "Install Visual C++" button and wait until the install process is completed.
• Make sure to restart your computer once the installation is complete.

What antivirus do you use? If you're using Windows Defender, make sure you set exceptions for the BDO folder. If you have BitDefender turn off advanced protection or uninstall it. Try running a system file check as well.

 

If you or the person you knows that has problems utilizes Bitdefender then try this:

I was able to get mine to work when utilizing Bitdefender by completely adding everything to exceptions for the GamezBD folder, its exe files, and dragging and dropping the .bin and .xem files into the "box" within each exception field (its left of the folder icon). Next is to go to a directory that may be entirely like the one I am about to list or very very similar: "C:\ProgramData\SmartGuard\bdo\smrt3d\beta\Data". Look for the .exe files there in that folder and add an exception for them. After doing this then manually disabling Advanced Threat Defense, I was able to play BDO with my shields up other than the "Advanced Threat Defense" shield being up.

Hope this helps if you are using Bitdefender else pass it along for those that do use Bitdefender so they can get past the smartguard error/errors that appear when pressing start on the launcher.
