Error at hooking API

    Hello!
    I've never had this issue before - when I try to load the game, this text box pops up as it is initializing the anti-cheat application.

    It terminates shortly after this popup, stating that it can't find a running client and to please try again. I have tried force-checking my files. I'm assuming I need to reinstall but I thought I'd ask first.

    I have the same problem. I started the game six months ago and there was no such thing as Smart Guard.

    I installed the latest visual C++ as well as the x86 and x64 packs and I still have the same issue. Thanks so much for your help Noyah! I am going to try reinstalling my game.

    Check if Windows has any updates if anyone has this issue again. I had an update pending that I didn't know about. I downloaded & installed it and my game works fine.
