    I saw this is in the common errors and solutions thread by @Noyah .
    I did this but I am still getting the error. I'm on Windows 10 Education 64-bit.
    Worth noting that I was able to play the game yesterday.

    Fixed by running setup.exe from the Windows Installation Media on my USB. Then choosing to upgrade Windows while keeping all files.
