Error on launch

Error occurred while starting this program:

Error code: 0301 C000007B

Hello, I've tried disabling my antivirus and making and exception thought my firewall, running as administrator, re-downloading the game files and a few other fixes for startup bugs from the general errors and solutions page but none have fixed this for me. Does anyone have any recommendations for fixing this?

 

• Open launcher settings, click at "Install Visual C++" button and wait until install process completed.
• Make sure to restart your computer once the installation is complete.

This used to work for most problems...not sure if it will work for your problem but deleting the BDO files in documents could also help, perhaps running a file check as well...not sure but it is something you could try.

 

Thanks for the tips, tried them but did not work... spoke with Noyah in game and he said he's never seen this error before.

Perhaps this was in conjunction with a Windows update?

If so can you rollback or if there is a new update then let it update...Again, I have no idea but have had similar problems, where the suggestions I have given so far have worked.
