Evasion, Block or both?

Hullo!

I'm working on a pve set for doing istances, bosses, farming mobs etc. Usually I would stack mboost in almost every slot, but the dual manastones give me the chance to put mboost and some other secondary stat.

So I was wondering, should I go for mboost/block, mboost/evasion, a bit of both, or some other manastone?

I am cleric and the set I'm gonna be using is cloth, to get a bit more mboost.

Also, if I'm going to use block manastones I would have to use mace/shield right?

Socket block, your characters gear-set isn't really setup for evasion. The use of the mace and shield definitely increases your block by a lot, but it's not like you need those out for block to be effective.

You don't need that much MA in PvE, the player seems to be looking for some method of increased survivability. That build works better when players are resisting your spells.

but if u make an cleric for hitter or killer , its better if u use MA/MB or MB/MA

and if u make cleric for suport just using MR/block or Block/MR

 

You don't need MAcc for PvE, and he's talking about this.

 

lol we need that , cz if we not use macc we will resist when attack another player with high MR

Another thing: since block is capped, how much would be enough against monster or bosses? Maybe it would be worth socketing a few mboost/hp as well?
We don't have many plates in legion so I usually find myself tanking when we're doing istances to gear up new members. I guess a few more hp wouldn't harm, but I'd like to know after how much block I should start with hp^^

 

If you want to be doing some serious damage then go for full mb on set and block on your shield and mace, if you are only a healer, then go for full hp on set and block on your shield and mace.


Evasion = Completely useless for a cleric

 

m.boost with block is better choice.

 

The OP's asking about pve build not pvp, try reading sometimes please.

MB/Block or HP/Block is the best option, i guess...listen to Badrobot =P

 

Common, it's not that hard to understand, fighting another player means PvP(Player versus Player), and he wants a PvE set(Player versus Environment).
