Everytime i press start the game loads up for like 3 seconds than closes

for whatever reason whenever i press start wuth the game fully downloaded it opens the game for like 3 seconds and closes again ive tried redownloading it and everything and nothing is working

 

have the same issue just downloaded the game today

 

Same issue here. Fresh install of both the game client and launcher. I click "Start", then the pop-over window shows "Initializing security module", then it disappears and I get a notification that the game is starting, only to see the launcher again.

So far I've tried:

• Fresh install of the game
• Separate install for Gamez
• Fresh download of the launcher
• The suggestions from the "Common Problems" post that seemed relevant
• Checking the Windows error logs (nothing shows up)
• Switching main monitors (in case resolution was an issue)

I can provide logs if they'll help.

 

yea thats the same problems im having, i even just downloaded retail again to see if it would fix it which it did not.

I think I've finally figured out my issue... I use Process Hacker over the regular Windows task manager for more detailed information, but this version of BDO doesn't seem to like it at all. As soon as I closed that down, I was able to start the game.

 

Got the same issue, when i check task manager there's only coherent UI host shown like 3 times. Tried pretty much everything I'm lost
