Of course nothing is final at this point, but hell... it excites me to no end to see something like this advancing forward :3


Now my summary for this incase people are all "against hitting links".

Essentially at the University of Alberta they figured out a way to help combat the progression of Multiple Sclerosis... a disease, one of the many, that is "near and dear to my heart", considering how up until recently I was nothing but doused in neurology alone.


And in all reality, I think a oral treatment taken daily (probably the easiest and least "annoying" way of delivering drugs to the body) would be marvelous really... especially considering some of the options that were avaliable before.

I always threatened that if I got M.S. I'd give myself a tapeworm x3... (Seemed to lessen the pace of neurodegeneration).


Reality is though that the clinical trials may actually bog down the overall "eruption" of this onto the market. Non-speculated clinical trials is kinda a shaky ground to get into a soapbox and proclaim anything, but considering the article was just released today (scientific one!)... even uttering the word clinical trials at this point is a fair compliment (fast pickup).
