Failed to initialize game...

I've tryied what you said GraveXD, it didnt work

 

something is wrong with your graphic card.

errors like this used to be when graphic card don't work.

try playing other games, or update your graphic card driver.

 

Nah , its not , i was playing Crysis 2 just right now (GTX 460 Zotac with the lastest drivers)
Btw, my real problem is when i'm at the NCsoft screen ( the big black one with only NCsoft at the middle) that error appears :OTCBuildClient32_woGG has stoped working ... blablabla

 

Alright i might have a fix because i got my game to work.

try this:
1. go to your Aion folder
2. open up L10N folder
3.delete DEU.pak and FRA.pak
4.open up ncsoft and repair
5.open up gamez launcher and see if it works.

have tryed everything i could.. got the same "fail to initialize" problem here, in the big black screen. I've checked antivirus, firewall, L10N, ... none of the previous suggestions worked for me;

Have you tried making sure that the language is set to "English"?
Go to ncsoft/settings and check if its in english...

 

before launching, check if aion.bin is already running(via task manager), close and try again

 

It probably wont work... It most likely is running through your processes but thats not the problem...my aion was running in my processes and even after closing it I would still get that error, up until I deleted those 2 files and repaired Aion

 

Yep, i did. its set to english. im still workin on it, trying to figure out whats wrong =/

 

idk i hope reinstalling fixes it, if not what a waste of time

 

omg... i downloaded the new item.pak and could play the game perfectly then found out i couldnt trade anything or store anything so i tried to switch back to old item.pak and now get this same error so i went and repaired and redownloaded the new item.pak but still getting the failed to initialize error -__-

 

have you patched already your client malc ?

 

If you dont mind to have no special shop... this is the way to play without gamez launcher(same error happens to me)


1. create a .bat file with this inside
