Farming Enchantstones...

Well as usually i came back from the core to gather them from the mobs around fort...
its the only area from the past 9months that i know wer i can have them quickly extract from elder stuffs....


buts... its kinda strange the never drop those fabled*** armors
something change on the drop rate of those mobs...


guys any infos were i can acquire them?

any help those knowledgeable ones ?

 

I get elder armors from mobs that I farm in Gelk. Mostly from Balaur mobs outside Gelkmaros fortress. I haven't tried farming int he abyss for it though.

 

specifically............ wer in gelk? name a an area....^_^v

u can find them in the Taloc instance + u get alot of manastones doing it.

but yeah elder has not dropped in core since like back in teh day. now days the devs dont know what they are doing.
even screwing up the manastone drops to now being random on every mob.

I dunno if you can see it, but in that area is where I farm balaur mats. And most of the time I get 2 or 3 pieces of elder and demolition gear. I remember too, back in retail, the defenders in core drop those elder gear a lot. But I haven't tried it yet in this server. I believe they still do though. You just have to be patient with the drop rate sometimes.

PS: I checked my sorcerer that did Taloc's last night. She got 2 elder pieces from some random mob in the instance. You should give it a try too. Although it might take some time. :lol:

well i have lots farming enchant stones to get.... since alot of Eats Sets Coming for me^_^v

 

if your vip the best place to hunt is taloc, there's no disturbance from enemies..

but if u want some thrill, u can just hunt outside volgaltem outpost kill all the mobs there, it drops green items or blue, extract it and u can get blue enchantment stones or if ur lucky, u can get L90..

 

Actually, if you just want enchantment stones, there's really no need to be so specific about the gear that you extract. In fact, everytime I farm, I always extract greens and blues and they still give good level of enchantment stones. If you're lucky enough you can even get L80s and up. Also, when enchanting an item, any white stone is fine when getting it from +1 to +10. Getting it from +11 to +15 is where you really need to use higher levels of enchantment stones, for higher success rate.

wew.......... the drop rate is too much low than i expected..... wew.......... i'm already a premium member...

 

Where's a good place with low risk (asmo) to farm blue/green enchantment stones? I don't have prim/vip yet.

Also, what's the avrg run time of talocs for someone who hasn't much gear?

This was where I used to farm. Easy mobs to kill, Rive Neokins and Ore Caltrops. They drop manastones and greens/blues. Safe place to farm too. I haven't seen one elyos come near this area before. It's just outside Gelk fortress. Also, the previous screenshot I posted, where those balaur mobs are. They drop good stuff too, but not as fast of a kill compared to the mobs in the lower end. But they give AP so it's worth it.

As for Taloc's, if you remember you transform into some giant tree whore once you're inside, and you are given that orange thingy that AOE's, so even if you're just average, gear wise, should be pretty fast. I did this on my level 53 chanter for 40 min or so.

 

Ok that's cool, btw im ely, not asmo that's why I said "Low risk (asmo)" as in low risk of seeing asmo XD sorry for confusion on my part.
