Few questions returning player

I haven't played gamez aion for over a year and now im returning!
I have a few questions about how to progress:
What is the best gear nowadays before donating?
What instances to farm?
Besides instances what else to do?
Medals?AP?Anything new lads?

I would appreciate any help. Kinda overwhelmed jumping back into aion ive forgotten how to play.

The best gear that would not require any donation is arbiter/principal/suzerian set +20, they can be bought in AP shops, clean ones. AP can be gained through pvp, instances, portal events, battlegrounds. Besides instances, you can go pvp, join portal events and etc. The best gear currently is the Boundless gear, it costs 3.5k credits each part/weapon in the webshop and Elite Arbiters cost 1.5k credits each part/weapon. And also, the second best accessory set is free, you can get it just by creating a new character, includes the SEED/SEAD set, it can be enhanced to +20 as well, but nowadays its just for pve I think. Also, to make a set/weapon get enhanced to +20 is that you will be needing a lot of omega stones, they can be acquired from in-game, forum, portal events, instances and etc. The maximum enchantment of accessories now are +10 which gives us a great advantage if its maxed, in pvp/pve's. Wings of the Circle level 2 is also sold in the webshop for 4.5k credits.
