Wouldnt matter if we had a server wipe now would it.. because the dupers will jus return to do it all over again.

 

Donaters would get pissed quite badly unfortunately.

 

I'd want a kinah wipe. When the dupe bugs are mostly fixed. (You can never get them all..)

We try. We really do.

 

Lets see... I average about 2 hacker bans a day. Thats not bad at all, considering the vast majority of reports I get are false.

This is all on top of offering support, dye, trade, and the hundreds of flight-abuse reports.

We're all incredibly busy. Before I got the job I didn't know it would be that demanding, however I find it incredibly rewarding.

However, perhaps I should make more of an effort on the forums x.x

 

wat we need is stop the donate for item thats where ppl get god model from. thats where the unbalance between begginner player and old player come from. i not saying is bad to donate the ppl who donate they pretty much only want the item if not for that theres probably wont be any donator.

on topic: GMs try and ban hackers, but Carl should really implement some preventitive measures. of course there will always be hackers, but there is nothing stopping them here at all

 

No, thats not quite what I meant. I can't change whether or not people feel the need to bring up the past and disregard my service-record as a GM.

What I meant was I should go out of my way to be more social, and helpful on the forums rather than just looking for hacker/cheater report threads

I do agree that Gamez needs some sort of anti-hack program like Game Guard or -something-, but that is not my choice whether or not something like that will be added. ):

As far as my reputation goes, its always nicer if people think of you in a positive light, however Gamez is not a popularity contest, and I don't GM for power or likability. I GM to put hackers on the ban list, and help people out.

 

doesn't help that you flamed the server to hell and then once realizing albull used "karissa-esque" policies and getting yourself banned over there, promptly returning here and being all obsequious to karissa who apparently is not "karissa-esque" at all =) (vacillate much?).

But like you said thats all in the past. And gameguard is bad. what it needs is anti speed hack scripts and scripts to cap the stats for people who have 6k attack etc.

 

I was under the impression Gameguard had such a good history of effortless integration and steadfast security.

 

no offense dude but how excactly is the best server?no armfussion,about 5 month server and doesn't have fortress sieges,server has bad lag,its lag with a 30v30 RvR event,it lags like making fort in retail with 300v300,it crashes all the time,and i don't speak for 1-2 times,it crashes almost everyday for over 3weeks,(sometimes 2-4 times a day),and its ping is the suckiest ever.in zeg fight about 300+ with Laetrix+Battleping

yes it would.there are more non-donators than donators,and voters.
unless we get our items back,then we wouldn't mind actually for a wipe

you just bother about the trigger rate,and you don't mention the almost everyday crash for over 3weeks?

 

meh, wipe is only for the massive amount of duping that has been going on

Well we can all agree that we need something extra to deal with the increasing number of cheaters.

Like I said though it is not my decision whether or not to implement such things.

He thinks its funny too. I don't have a magical command to make him disappear for good, so I can only //ban his accounts as I see them pop up (and are caught engaging in illegal activity), or as they are reported to me. :sad:
