First time playing here (launch game)

Hello everyone i'd like to know if i did something wrong while i install your launcher because when i try to log my account : The game freeze and i cant do nothing , i must close the aion's window.
Btw i use the file.bat to launch the game cuz when i try with the launcher i got a message which say "please reinstall the corect path".
Help me please i heard that you were one of the most famous private server of aion =)

 

u installed the gamez launcher in the wrong place. u have to install it inside your aion folder for it to work

 

i installed it in C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Aion

 

is that where ur game is? coz the launcher checks for \bin32\aion.bin in the same folder where u install it. if it cant find it, ull get that error

if u didnt change ur ncsoft launcher region settings, then ur actual game folder will be C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Aion (North America)\ which would mean the launcher is not in the same folder as the game itself

 

owww i found your were right =) ^^ ( i got 2 folder : aion and aionNorth America and it automatically install in the wrong one) but now its say that the program is unvalaible in my country , i choose north america in Ncsoft but before i was in europe and the name of the game was : Aion(North America)

 

thats where the whole problem started. the game needs the ncsoft launcher to be set to north america be4 u install it. the "unavailable in your country" error shows coz ur game is installed as european. i can help u fix it all but ull have to follow the steps accurately

1. delete that aion folder that has barely anything in it, its just overrides added by the gamez launcher setup (the total size of the folder will be under 10mb)
2. rename your Aion (North America) to just Aion
3. run your ncsoft launcher
4. check the region settings and make sure they are set to north america
5. the game will show as not installed, dont worry, thats just coz the file path changed when u renamed the folder. right click aion in the not installed games list -> properties -> browse and locate C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Aion\bin32\aion.bin. the game will show as installed now
6. right click aion in the games list and choose repair. that will convert all EU localizations to north america
7. install the gamez aion launcher again. now it will install in the proper path
8. play the game

if you have windows 8, u need to donwload a fix to play that.

 

thats a different issue, it would clearly say cant connect to authorization server when u try login. his issue is that he installed the game with ncsoft launcher set to europe instead of north america
