A year long to scowl, to fuss and to grinch
to rage, upstage, back stab, penny pinch
Why strife!? Why peril!? Why settle the score!?
till naught one remains, to lay at ones door?

"For what.." may you ask "..shall I lay down my arms,
To pick up a glass, and wish you no harm?
What reason have i, to folly and dance,
while demons of hate, come hither, advance?"

For balance of heart! and of soul, and of kin!
Their ought be no yang, without brother yin
A life spent pursuant of problems diverse
will still end in sadness, a drive in a hearse

This time of year is, reminder throughout
That IF you must yell, and IF you must shout
Remember what lay 'tween the stones and the sticks
It's passion and courage and zeal in the mix

Concerns of our troubles and pain do remain
Out of sight on this night, of these thoughts we'll abstain
And replace them with eggnog and mistletoe kisses
And handshakes and hugs and frequent good wishes

Least one day to stop, deter and detour
to breathe, to receive and impart l'amour
An ending of sweetness, and bountiful taste
Like dessert after dinner (or sex in its place)

And to all the asmo's and ely's in game
I wish you success, and plenty of fame
Ofcourse to your families and friends you endear
Not just on christmas, but all of next year

I titled my story "Christmas Miracle".

Well..yeah Christmas is a holiday where we enjoy each other exchanging gifts, we can see every person's smiles.
I called my story a Christmas Miracle since it's a story about me being in a fight between gangs, yeah i'm a member of some gang groups out there.
That night was 24th of December 10pm of the evening, I was walking on the street and meet some gang group, they're 7 people while 3 of them knows me that i'm a member of another gang. So...the guy asked me "Why are you here?" I'll be honest, i'm little bit panic on that time so I answered "Hey guys, i'm going to meet my gf (with a smile)" But the truth is i'm going home on that time. I didn't tell them the truth because I care for my family, my Mom and Dad and my 8 yrs old sister.
I started to walk slowly trying to escape on the situation, but sadly they're really a badass so they started to punch me all over my body and face. I'm thinking to fight but nah it's Christmas, I can't punch people on this important holiday so I let them punch me numerous times ti'll they get tired.
So they really got tired, i sat down on the ground and told them "Guys, Merry Christmas again w/ a smile". So it's the miracle part they come at me and pat their hands on my head and they answered "Bro, sorry merry christmas", they walk away. I was kinda surprised on what happened, I don't see any happiness in their face after beating me up. I really thought that was my night and I can't see my family again. I went home, my family was worried after they saw me but i told them that I had a "Christmas Miracle".

So..3yrs have passed, I'm not in any group now. I realized that i'm already a member in a wonderful group called "Family".
And that's my Christmas Miracle, where I learned a lesson about keeping your family surrounded with love and communication.
I hope you guys/gals learned some lesson about my unforgettable story about Christmas.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and A Prosperous New Year!

A day remembered by its once-a-century occurrence of matching day, month and year numbers (also when [the rest of the world] can't complain about how Americans write the date), the last of its kind for 100 years.

and by Regii writing a haiku about farting on Christmas day.

NEVER FORGET.

CHRISTMAS IN OUR HEARTS

If you want to ask Jesus, the CHRIST OF CHRISTMAS to come into your heart, He’s here.....NOW.....Not in Bethlehem in the manger, or on the Cross at Calvary...But right here waiting for you to invite HIM TO COME INTO YOUR HEART. (Go to Meet Jesus)

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. That whosoever believeth should live everlasting life.”
John 3:16

Christmas In Our Hearts Song

Whenever I see girls and boys
Selling lanterns on the street
I remember the child in the manger as he sleeps
Wherever there are people
Giving gifts exchanging cards
I believe that Christmas is truly in our hearts
Let's light our Christmas trees for a bright tomorrow
Where nations are at peace,
And all are one in God

[Chorus:]
Let's sing Merry Christmas and a happy holiday
This season may we never forget the love we have for Jesus
Let him be the one to guide us as another new year starts
And may the spirit of Christmas be always in our hearts

In every prayer and every song
The community unites celebrating the birth of our savior Jesus Christ
Let love like that starlight on that first Christmas morn
Lead us back to the manger where Christ the child was born
So come let us rejoice
Come and sing the Christmas carol with one big joyful voice
Proclaim the name of the Lord

[Chorus:]
Let's sing Merry Christmas and a happy holiday
This season may we never forget the love we have for Jesus
Let him be the one to guide us as another new year starts
And may the spirit of Christmas be always in our hearts

[Chorus:]
Let's sing Merry Christmas and a happy holiday
The season may we never forget the love we have for Jesus
Let him be the one to guide us as another new year starts
And may the spirit of Christmas be always in our hearts

Christmas came early for you and for me
Christmas with no gifts to open
Christmas without any yuletide tree
Christmas with words of love spoken
Christmas was walking to York hand in hand
Christmas in awe at the Minster
Christmas togetherness was just what we planned
Christmas was chaffed legs and blisters

Christmas was cups of tea served early morn
Christmas was being together
Christmas was loving from dusk until dawn
Christmas remembered forever
Christmas was driving through floods for the view
Christmas ‘our planning’ was starting
Christmas our Christmas meant so much to me
Christmas our bitter sweet parting

This is the Poem Expressing the Christmas of my life! This is just once a year to be celebrated! and i have a short storry about X-mas

When i was young my mother told me that Santa Clause is A man With some reinders! and he has red shirt! pants and Everything with color RED! then this man is giving free X-mas gifts and putting some candies or any gifts in my sock. Then i prepared Socks everywhere! and i remembered that Santa's Color is red! so i put my favorite sock up my head! and that sock is color red. After that i prayed god "Our Father" then after i prayed i close my eyes and felt asleep!. the next morning when i woke up, i get my sock above my head and i opened it! what i see is bunch of money and lot of candies and an Orange Fruit! Then i prayed again to GOD "Can you please tell santa that im verry happy what you've done". So i repeated this and repeated this Every Night... Then the last night! December 24 2004! i still remember this part! ^_^ i put the Sock under my blanket so if santa put the gifts i can wake up talk to HIM! Then i think it was 3:00AM in the morning and somethings above my head then i opened my Eyes! and I was shocked when i see SANTA Clause with A costume and a Beared! then i talk to him! hi Santa, then he Says HO ho ho Merry X-mas! Then we talk!
After we talk he gaved me Some gifts! then i kissed him in the chicks then i go to sleep! then in the morning i seen a big box in my said! then i opened it! and what i see is a T-shirt printed GamezAION and my name at the back! i was verry happy in that DAY. Then i went to our X-mas tree and i see many many gifts! and the 5 of them was named DranZz Teodoso! i Was really happy and when the night comes we Prepared foods and all of my families ate! and i was very exited to open my gifts! then the last gift i opened is very cute card! and when i opened it What i see is a simple card with a Username and a Password of gamezaion with ABG set and ABG access and weapons! this is the day i started playing GAMEZAION! Thats all!

Thank you for Reading my cute story! ^_^

Snow Flakes

Each droplet of water
formed into a lacy flake
Falling from heaven above.
Created by God

Everyone different
some big and some small
glistening as they fall
in silence known by all

Watching one melt
upon your brow.
My finger catching the drops
caressing the side of your face

And you kiss my nose
catching a snowflake as it melts
into a droplet of love
created by God

Ok so here we go..

December '89. It's dark and possibly about 10 PM. The cold chillin' wind of the winter, peaceful towns, shinny lights, the spirit of the cold season is all around the world.. But this city, this one, has something appart. You wouldn't sense the Christmas spirit around it.. The city market is full of people yelling, and protesting without caring about the freezing temperature of the windy night.. Men, women, children are fighting the guards so they can reach the man they want to see! The army crew arrived in the 'agora of disturbance' and started hitting hard and making crowd holes. Everything is delirious. You couldn't hear anything else than: "We want him down!"... Men shot, women hurt, running all over the place, but still holding the lines tight, against the forces that would want them away, enjoying the Christmas's Eve! Hours and hours of protests, and shouts passed by and finally, after a long long night of murders and injuries brought on the civilians it was all over.
The man they wanted to see, was there. His face was expressing the depression he was feeling in those moments, he didn't rise his head off the ground and kept walking.. He was escorted by a few army officers taking him to his final prayer. The final moments of his 'filthy' life. "THE CHRISTMAS" they said.. They we're sacrificing their president, their leader, like a hogger, putting his life to and end, in the Christmas day..

"MERRY CHRISTMAS" they said, and everyone was happy they got what they wished for.. But a country remained without a leader, without someone to take them ahead.

Ok guys, this is what Christmas meant for me, for Romanian people, when Ceausescu, the communist ruler of the country , got executed in the Christmas day, not having the opportunity of receiving forgiveness , even if he was , what he was.

For me Christmas is a holiday that i want to pass with my family or my best friends, visit my godfather and other relatives
but most important about Christmas for me is that i have anniversary with my girlfriend on 24th.
Rather than that i like it that i won't have to go to university and sit home, sleep as much as i want and relax.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!
In beauty green will always grow
Through summer sun and winter snow.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!

Christmas is my favorite holiday. It is time to spend with my family, gather together on the festive dinner table. It is the holiday to thank God for all good in our lives, for everything we achieved and will achieve. It is a perfect time for gift-gifting and gift-receiving, the time to say the words of appreciation to those you love and care for indeed.

Toys are not the most important thing at Christmas

Carlitos was a boy who had everything a child of seven would have. He had many toys, the best in the world. Christmas was coming and as always, the child began to write with a lot of emotion, a letter to Santa Claus (which is actually a letter to her parents) in which he asked many toys as I had seen on television, near 30 unreleased toys and wanted to have at all costs. His parents so far had given many toys now realized that they were not educated well to his young son. They said "Charlie, you have too many toys. This Christmas I no longer buy those that are asking for your letter. It's time you learned to value other things and still having everything you want ". Carlitos ignored and began demanding his toys and he did not like at all what his parents had told him. Parents knew that they were at fault.

The next day, Charlie was the fourth of his parents and found that his father was lying in bed with a cloth on the forehead. Her mother said she was very sick and needed to stay in bed. Carlitos got scared and went to his room sad. A while later, he returned and went to his father, taking his mother had gone to cook, and said, "Dad, heal. If you get good, I promise to be a good son and behave better. I do not want toys. Now I want you best dad. Be well, now is the most important to me. "The boy had learned at a young age, that in life, there are many others to think and what to value, apart from their precious toys. Now the boy saw life differently. Between tears and worry, he went to his room sad and it did not feel like lunch. Carlitos slept. In the afternoon, when she awoke, she was hungry and went to the kitchen. Great was his surprise when he saw his dad lunch as if it had never been sick. Carlitos, mentally said, "Now I'm going to change and I will not put my toys over everything else." We should teach our children that Christmas without love, it would be nothing but Christmas without toys, should remain Christmas.

Lemme give it a try,

True Meaning of Christmas
There will be no poor because all the riches would be shared
Joy will live in the hearts of our young
People will offer the gift of a smile, of courage and of hope
Peace would live in the hearts of those who have nothing
And of those who live in nothing but themselves
Sadness would be wiped away from away from the eyes of every child
Peace shall thrive in every home, in every town
The gentleness of love would replace the ravages of hate
We would learn to live in harmony and in joy
We would protect Mother Earth who nourishes us
And offers us life
What if Christmas was filled with hope, empathy and peace?
What if we simply said no! to war?
Then we would all meet in peace, in joy and in love

Mama told me a story a long long time ago not like any that I'd ever heard,
all about a little girl mama used to know, how I remember every word.
Seems like a lifetime ago, though I remember it so well,
it was a Christmas eve I'll never forget as far as I can tell.
We were sitting at the kitchen table, it was only my mother and me,
I was dreaming of Christmas morning and all the presents under the tree.
Dad wasn't doing that well and money was scarce that year,
Mama found a way of telling me without me shedding one tear.
She told me a story of a little girl and a Christmas long ago,
who came from far away, a place where it rarely snowed.
Santa was just a dream to her, but she believed so much inside,
that Christmas was going to be special, so she knelt by her bed and she cried.
"Lord let Santa remember me if not just this one time, I promise I won't ask for much, maybe a dolly I can call all mine."
She closed her prayer and thanked the Lord for all that she received,
she knew that Santa would really come if only she believed.
She wrote a letter to Santa unfamiliar to most girls and boys,
Though her list was long and full, on it there were no toys.
Only things we take for granted, like new shoes or underpants,
hair bows for her sisters and gloves to warm her brother's hands.
At the bottom of her list she asked if it not be to much, for a brand new baby doll she could hold and love and touch.
Then Christmas morning came and she looked beneath her tree,
Not a present to be found as far as she could see.
She didn't give up hope as she heard a knocking sound,
When she opened up her door a great big box she found.
She called out to her mother and dad, brothers and sisters too,
She said "my prayers were answered, there's something in here for all of you."
Her daddy got brand new boots, her mother new underpants, her sisters got beautiful hair bows, her brothers warm gloves for their hands.
Buried deep beneath the box was a brand new baby doll and a note that said Merry Christmas I love you one and all.
I'll never forget that story because much to my surprise,
I saw the true meaning of Christmas shining in my mother's eyes.
For those of you who are wondering, as if you didn't know,
The little girl in Mama's story was my mother long ago.

This poem is about a childhood memory I will never forget. God bless all the mothers in this world and may all your Christmases be ones to remember.

This Christmas,
may you have the fulfillment
of seeing around you
the people you love the most.
May you have the satisfaction
of giving the best gift,
special memories that will last forever.
This Christmas,
may you feel peaceful and contented,
knowing what Christmas means to you
and celebrating it your way.

Merry Christmas to all of you

xmas is never a balance
time of bizaare extravagance
food, drinks, and parties here and there
from school to office anywhere

eat so much you're about to burst
sodium levels increasing first
blood pressure is the one up next
better stop now and leave the rest

clopidogrel, metoprolol
warfarin, or atenolol
maintenance drugs sure are a pain
festive seasons drive me insane

eat so much as you never did
get sick for more than what you need
still enjoy this festivity
it is indeed an irony

a grandparents view of Christmas. I have seen good ones and bad, i think i will take a lean Christmas were the gifts are small and hand made, a picture made by a grandchild. The best presents are the time you spend with family and friends and even the time you took to help someone you have never met before. I wish all could set aside petty bickering for one day. Do something nice visit a veterans home or take a small gift to a senior center near you. Giving of ones self to others with out payment or expecting something in return.

When I was a kid, I was always looking forward to Christmas. The sounds of Christmas songs, the wintry Christmas chill, the seasonal Christmas street food (in my country it's an unbroken tradition). How could I forget the exciting presents I receive every year. Even though most are let downs rather than getting what I wanted, I was still happy I got something (It's better than nothing, right?). Then there's the Christmas dinner, even though my gifts disappoints me, the meals doesn't.
Now I feel like the spirit of Christmas is constantly fading away each year. Yes, people are experiencing hard times during these past few years. People don't feel like celebrating as much as they used to because of the expenses. I realized it's not all about gifts, songs, and foods. It's about being there for your loved ones; your family.
Personally Christmas for me is about reflection. Reflection of the things that occurred during the year. Before I give something to someone (especially myself), I always ask if I/he/she deserves this? We tend to be greedy and self-righteous and tend to say that 'I've worked hard for this money so I have the right to buy these stuff'. But at the end of the day we end up with numerous impractical things. Having said that we could have just used it for something else or for the benefit of others (Yes, I mean charity).
Christmas is a time of giving, so why not give to others who cannot even give themselves anything? I mean the real needy. Not just a kid/adult in the street who asks/begs you for change. You know the difference.

Happy Holidays Everyone!
