[Forum Problem] Cant see general discussion section

Hello there,

well i sent a PM to Alente about this but since he didnt reply i ll just make a thread so more staffs could see this problem.

Some weeks ago my forum account "suddenly" lost all its permissions and my name became light blue i was able to see that through my wife's forum account. Afterwards she sent a PM to Alente and he restored my account back to normal,though we never found out what exactly happened and who "if" messed with my account. And some days ago i noticed that i actually cant view the forum's General Discussion Section,for me that section doesnt exist,i think that happened when i lost my forum permissions and it looks like the permission to view that section wasnt restored.

Here is how i see forums http://i934.photobucket.com/albums/ad190/MortemLacrimosa/hmm.jpg as you can see there is a section missing above Socialized Section.

I will be waiting for some reply here from staffs.

It's quite confusing because you say it's restored and then you say it's not..

either way, is it restored?
if yes - then there's no problem yes? yes..?
if not - how did you post in the GD then? did you type in the URL link to get into the GD?

I believe it is partially restored. He's still experiencing some issues as you can see.
He said that after his Account was restored he still could not see the General Discussion Section.
And there are 2 "General Discussion" Sections.
The one he posted this in is the one under GamezAION(High Rate), click here. (General Discussion about the Server)
The one he cannot see is the main page's one, the one in the index page, click here. (General Discussion about Non-Game Related Subjects)

I still have the same problem,i thought after 2 days some staff would take a look at this thread? Guess i was wrong.

 

There is nothing interesting in the General Section, anyway... I just bump it for you, dude.

On a side note: I think that only the Admins got the powah to arrange the powah permits on the forum and the only available is Alente, who is quite busy - afaik.

Other staff members will just tell you that they will forward it to him xD

But why cant i see the section? I made this thread a week ago and i also sent a pm to alente but nothing yet.. Its just a simple permission issue. Nothing that 20 sec on the admin panel wont fix.

 

This was his exact problem before:





As you can see, his forum name is quite different from all the accounts and he do not have his Avatar and Signature when he was in this state.
After sending a PM to Alente regarding this he fixed it right away. I asked him what could possibly be the problem, why would his forum account will suddenly be like that but I failed to get a reply for that.

After he restored the account to normal, we noticed that he cannot view General Discussion section. The thing here is that, of all accounts, why his account?? If this is some sort of bug, what kind? If not, then who's behind all these??

It is not about wanting to see General Discussion section. It is about fixing the forum account since there's something wrong with it.

PS: This is sad. This thread is 2weeks old and still no action for it...

 

He cannot see it on the Index, okay, but what if someone sends him the link? (What if he clicks this: http://forum.gameznetwork.com/f56/), does he get a permission error or something? Oh and are posts made in that section visible for him on the Last Posts' list on the Index Page?

p.s. It has been like 2 weeks already... how long solving an issue like this can take? u.u

 

Even with sent link he cannot access the page. It says no permission blah blah.

As of July 1. After 2 weeks of making this thread, it's still not being fixed.

 

This is the same message you get when you try to access the staff area using a normal account. This can be fixed in a matter of seconds (minutes? okay), i believe. Could the Admins have possibly missed this thread?..
