Frequent disconnection

Hello,

First of all, thank you for brining up a huge update at the end of December and please keep up the good work.

Recently, I've been experiencing constant disconnection from the server whenever I go afk for horse riding. I can't tell how long it stays online because I went to bed but I am guessing 2-3 hours max. My guildies are also having disconnection issues whenever they afk while they are doing some life-skill jobs.
Heard a rumor that this is due to DDOS attack from other servers to prevent upcoming GameZ server update. Please confirm or keep me posted to resolve disconnection issues. Thanks

 

Rumors of that nature are rumors until it is announced in telegram officially by the telegram bot or by @Kolka. Or here on the forums by @Carl . Frequent disconnections could have many causes.

• Make sure that your antivirus/firewall have exceptions set for BDO or make sure they are turned off.
• Clear the game cache. This will usually solve most crashing issues.
• Make sure you AFK in an area with the least amount of congestion - avoid minimizing to tray in the marketplace and near Warehouse Storage NPC.
• Restart your router and/or flush your DNS. This can solve some lag and disconnection problems.

 

When I reach the log in screen and entered my account it shows You have disconnected from the server. I don't know what is the problem. HELP ME PLEASE.

 

not one of these options worked, there’s something wrong with the gamezbd, because i open another official black desert and it doesn’t disconnect.

 

Could you guys try to connect with a VPN and see if it still happens?

 

If you and your guild are SEA players, try the above suggestion. SEA players have some connectivity issues that are solved with a VPN. hide.me is a free VPN you can test with.
