    Hey guys,

so... Everytime i play on this Server, the Game periodically starts to have hard FPS drops, down till a short "Freeze" after each ~10minutes, even on LowSpec settings. I already tried to ForceCheck the Launcher, but no Failiure was detected. Funny thing: i can play the official Server with HighSpec and even leave all the Classskills visible when fighting WorldBosses without having any trouble. I hope, you can help me out, on how to get rid of this Problem. It`s damn annoying and makes the Game almost unplayable with fun.

    with big Hope`s

There are a couple of things that have helped a few people with that today. If you have geforce expeirience, try turning off the in game overlay. Also, disable "allow seeding" in your launcher settings when logged out.

the FPS Drops/Freezes still occur. I disabled Seeding, GeForce Expiriance Overlay and reinstalled the whole Game on my SSD... other suggestions?

Or am i the only one with this Problem?

What are your computer specs? Cause it can be hardware limitation and/or malfunction. (needle in a haystack)

Your specs seem way better than mine, yet I don't experience such harsh freezes.

I have noticed that in Valencia and Heidel I get waaaaay more lag and fps drops than in retail, but it's not game breaking for me and of course there will be hicups along the way.
Here are my 2 cents :
    - Try to update all your drivers.
    - Scan your PC for adware/malware as they bloat and WILL make your PC slower.
    - If you are using any other background programs, terminate them in task manager (Cntrl+Shift+Escape). Especially Chrome, Opera, Mozilla! Unfortunately they bloat and eat up 60-70% of your RAM no matter how large it is.
    - Check if any components are overheating or fans stuttering. There are monitoring programs if you google. AMD CPUs can handle a lot of crap, but the fan needs to work properly and under load temp should be no more than 70-75 degrees celcius. Your GPU should run cool - max 65-70 degrees.
    - Make sure to turn off SSAO that enhances shadows and turn off low power options.
    - Also DO NOT use the built in game "Frame Rate optimisation" and etc settings. Take your time and do it by hand and hand tune it to the point that feels good on your system. I like to stay in Heidel smack in the middle of the crossroad where all the wagons are and set it up that I have at least 20-25 fps there (meaning 40-60fps at grind spots).
    Cheers. Hope you fix this.

Drivers already Up to date, no Overheating, no Virus/Trojans/Spam/Malware, i already did my Ingame Settings since the first start of BDO/GamZBDO (Low-Power Op. = off, FrameRate opt. = standart off, SSAO is always off....) I mean.. there is no other Change in this, than the Connection IP to the PServer.... or? I mean... normal BDO No Laggs etc with almos 100FPS+ at the Grindspots and around 40-60 FPS Heidel/Velia Marketplace....

Hi op, play BDO in borderless window. Also download Process Lasso free software for unparking CPU cores ( It is essencial for AMD CPU) but turn off program funcion PRO Balance. Also in this program set BlackDesert process as always start with priority: Above normal ( you can't do it in standart win10 task menager). Win10 often start games with priority below normal which causes lag. Hope this helps.

Also I highly recommended System Mechanic Pro from iolo software for optimization and cleansing system. Best program around but it costs 55 usd. There is trial version you may try it out.

Or if you have an ASUS motherboard, you can unlock the cores in BIOS like I did.
Although most games/apps will not use more than 1 or 2 cores as not all of them support and can take advantage of more cores and multithreading.
Keep us up to date what happens here.
