    i have to disagree.. macs have been designed and constructed for the OS.. so the os doesn't need to mess around with drivers etc.. eg... windows.. your paying alot of money for something that will work.. of course the user control is restricted when using the terminal but what do u expect?

    okay me and you got off to a bad start.. but seriously your a games tester.. and you must know that even thought with pc games there is a GUI.. graphical user interface that allows you to change the settings from low, medium and high.. you can also go into the console and customise those setting further.. to suit your pc.. eg.. cod4.. there is low, med and high then within the console there extra high, extra low, change scope etc.. so with your problem with crysis u can easily make it so the game will run smoothly but not at the highest graphical with v-sync switched off..
