game problem

i used to play the game and i quit for like 5 months now i downloaded new gamez launcher from the site and my game size was 51.8GB launcher start updating first then checking for game files the time it takes checking the game size keep decreases till it reach size 27GB and start to download again from that point so do i have to download half of the game again aren't it should to download the new content only why it delete half of the game size and force me to download the rest of it ?
ill appreciate any assist in that matter thanks.

 

I seem to have a problem too when i connect to the game all of the writing are blurry and i cant click on any server or channel to start the game so im just stuck and cant play anymore this happened after i had it install its own client and not use bdo retail launcher
