Game wont launch

    Ive tried uninstalling and reinstallling the game ive added everything to my firewall and antivirus ive force checked and even disabled my firewall and antivirus entirely and the game will not launch. I am also on windows 10 so im not sure what else to do.

    Idk if its the same problem but im having a similiar situation.
    I was playing yesterday just fine, them i close the game and go to sleep them when i get up and try to play, the game wont start or it doesnt let me choose the server to enter (Cant connect).

    I have the same problem, the game always crash after character selection .

    does anyone knows how to solved this? idk how to create another topic so im writing on this again.
    trying to play for more them 7 hours and still cant.

    I too am having this issue. Game was being super odd (spamming "please try again in a moment" when auto pathing, odd lag etc) so i closed game. Now i get crash after character select even after clearing cache, force checking, etc.

    For those who are getting crashes after Channel/Character selection or "Processing", try using a VPN.
    If you're facing isues with the Launcher, try the following:
    Flush your DNS:
    Open CMD and insert the following command:
    ipconfig /flushdns
    After that, restart your PC and open GameZBD.

    If it doesn't work, go to the following destinations and delete all in:
    C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\GamezBDO
    C\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\GamezBDO
    After that, restart your PC and open GameZBD.

    Not sure if this solved things for others but its still crashing after character select. Guess a full reinstall is in order

    Edit: Tried a VPN also not working

    Still nothing, i flushed the dns and deleted all in the AppData folders.

    I managed to fix it myself, for some reason after the last patch everything was set to launch in windows 7 compatibility. You have to go through all your bdo files and turn that off and it works

    Right click on Launcher and executables, go to properties and check the compatibility mode.

    Hello, I am having the same or similar issue as those above. I've restarted my PC, flushed the DNS, checked compatibility, etc.

    My game is fine all day until just before 8:30pm central time. Then it starts hitching for a bit, then it crashes. I can't get it to run again for hours. This has happened for the past four days in a row, always around the same time. Like others have mentioned, it crashes as soon as I'm logging back into a character. I've tried several characters each time and different servers with no luck. I usually have to wait until the next morning to log in again and it's fine again all day until around 8:30pm again.

    hello im sure this thread isnt all that active anymore im having a issue with my compatibility the only things listed for me are windows 7 and windows 8 do i need to change this? im on windows 11 so i dont understand what i need to do to fix this

    Hello and Welcome to the GamezBD Forum, I have to say, that I am impressed that you managed to get 81 points, and this is your first post :D


    The best way to fix problems, is to check two things first of all, are you using the Windows Beta/Pre-release/Preview-version? If yes, then you Must regress/restore/roll-back to a version that isn't insider-preview/beta/pre-release.
