gameClient has stopped working

    Hey, I'm trying to install and play Aion but I have problems even starting the game...
    I followed the instructions on the Gamezaion site and downloaded the game through the torrent. The launcher itself does open, but when I press Start, the loading picture for Aion shows and then the program immediately stops working. It says "AION GameClient has stopped working" and the only option I have is to close the program.
    Can anyone help me solve this problem?

    Try to go to your Aion folder, click on "Properties" and deselect "Read-only" then "Apply to all subfolders". After this, run the game as Administrator.
