Gear Question

Hello guys, I dont play Aion for ove a year, and now that i'm back I see many things has changed. Atm I have abg accessories, egt set and abg+masta spear. I would like to know, which set should I try to get now? and how? Some people said I should get gonon set with crucible insignia, but what about sauro and tiamats sets? which would be better in pvp? I'm really lost haha.

Well welcome back. Set wise "Gonon/Genium Sets" are like the new EAC but kind of much easier to get in a short period of time. You should probably try to aim for getting maybe HAC or Ambassador Sets see some what frequently in trades on LFG or Forums the HAC set costs about 3.5 VIP in Credits and Ambassador costs about 7 or 7.5k VIP in Credits but I would try to strive for those both sets. The new pve items such as Sauro's and Tiamt's are literally only for PvE use. But overall Sauro's Commando's Set is the new best PvE set to get out on Gamezaion. If you're rich and can spend lots of money get the Governor set which is about 175$ for the set and around 100$-125$ for full Shepards accessory set .

Thanks for the reply. Well I might aim for getting gonon set while I vote to get some better set. What about my weapon? abg+masta fused, should i change the masta and fuse abg+sauron?

 

If the fuse part of your current spear is the Mastarius one, then you're cool - you'll be able to fuse the Sauro weapon with ABG (ABG being secondary / fuse), the opposite (ABG + Sauro) is not possible, however. That, is a good idea while you're saving up for a better PvP spear or an Extendable one.

 

another thing is to farm mithril medals to get archon/guardian commander accessories or set that is way better than gonon.. its the 4th best pvp gear nowadays

 

Gonon sucks now. Just get a parry focused tiamat plate set (all the pieces grant additional parry), get rid of your spear and get a DDL+ABG weapon instead (you can get DDL from the big tiamat treasure chest in tiamaranta's eye or from the DLR instance which is popular enough nowadays). From what i've seen sauro items are weak, the weapons are actually not so bad (basically the spear is useless since it doesnt extend) but the bow is pretty good.. though the sets are kinda bad, tiamat does seem to be better.. i should do a comparison test soon.
