    Chain = Parry, Block, Magic Resist
    Plate = Physical Defense

    Well IMO
    Glad vs Magic - I prefer Chain set + greatsword with silence since you can slam more skills and hopefully silence the magic type toons
    Glad vs Physical - Plate + spear coz you can land more damage

    But some assassins have socketed their sets with full Magic booost and use cloth for the "signet silence" which is a deadly and can almost give a 1 hit combo kill :) hope I helped
