Well, then a Gladi is easier to equip, because even w/o equips you just spam AoE. Templar is more technical, requires a lot more skill as well as a good strategy. If you're looking for a challenge, get a Templar, if not, get the Gladi. But them with Gladi you won't gain respect at all, since they are "the noob's choice" as many say. (Now, I'm not calling all you people who have glads noobs xD, there are good galds there too)

It is impossible to say which race will perhaps be more friendly... I can only control myself, not others...

Same with class... there is no best... 95% of the time rather than responding nicely I'd have just flamed you for saying it. There is definately no such thing as "better" or "best". They are completely different playstyles, all of them. You need to choose whatever you feel fits more like a glove and go with it. If you choose "the best class", you may end up playing infinately worse than "the worst class". Although no class on this server is bad.

Gladiators can dual wield too, not just assasins... a quick summary of the classes for you.

Templar: High survivability, able to pull targets towards itself. And by high survivability I mean riddiculous survivability if played properly! However, this class definately can lay damageon thick. Uses magic to attak targets from a far.

Gladiator: Decent survivability with its %-wise heals, strong AoE abilities and highst physical damage. Has a combo move that can hit targets at a range.

Chanter: Decent survivability alone, with its buffs and heals its survivability goes through the roof however. Very potent buffer AND healer in the game... can throw up a buff that lasts forever and costs nothing to maintain to raise speed, among other things. Features many physical stuns and long-range attacks.

Cleric: Decent survivability alone, weak buffs, but more AoE heals and more heal-boost (so stronger heals) to go along with it, also is the only class (aside from spiritmaster) that can remove debuffs from the party. Has higher damage than the cleric due to it having the ability to lay down pew-pew-turrets...

Assasin: Stealth master, and stun-barrage master, and highest DPS in game. Crappy at group play (9in my opinion) but slaughters people in seconds in solo PvP.

Ranger: Stealth able class... not such a great stealth though. Can lay down (useless) traps to hinder targets... however has some of the most deadly bursting potential in the game. When buffed out, this class deals stupidly high bursty damage.

Sorcerer: Burst damage class with crowd control abilities. Also master of magic resistance and magic accuracy.

Spiritmaster: Damage over time master, very easy to kite around, gets a pet... the most powerful control class in Aion. Featuring a wide array of debuffs and disabiling techniques. However, this class will reward "expert players" with the single most advanced class in Aion.

I still don't understand, you want us to choose your class or something?
Watch videos, read about classes and make the one that you think is the right for you. We cannot decide for you.

I personally play a sorcerer , it's definitely the best class in the game :p
Or maybe i should say.. in the server. Because in retail , sorcs aren't that good.
Sorcs in gamez , due to the unique stigma system , are pretty "Overpowered"
and so are assassins x_x with those 10% godstones..

Spiritmasters aren't bad too , though they fail hard vs m.res players
