Glory Breakthrough Skill Bug?

Hi,
Is the breakthrough skills called Glory: empryan bug? what I mean is that I read the description, and when I use it, the effect is like I'm BG my whole group, as the group taking damage my character also take thier damage, idk if that right, it would suck if I pop the skills and I'm instantly dead. or maybe it how it suppose to work , idk.
