What's the difference between gold godstones and non-gold(blue) godstones? Does gold godstones proc more often than non-gold?

 

Read the stats. Gold blind and silence are 8 seconds with 5% proc. Reading the stats would tell you everything

 

I did read the stats. Just wondering why a lot of people prefer the gold one when some of the non-gold godstones has better stats?!

 

The stats are the same between a blue 5/8 silence or blind and a gold blind/silence.

The only difference is in the effect. They don't "glow" in the same way.

Let's take the stun godstone as an example; The blue one makes simple flashes; the gold one has skulls flashing around it.

but a blue 10/10 is better than a gold godstone; if you're only looking for stats

 

The only Heroic (Blue / non-gold) Godstones with better stats than Fabled (Gold) Godstones are "Khrudgelmir's Silence" and "Bollvig's Love",
these are not available on retail and only obtainable through Gamez's cash shop.

Taking the paralyze godstone as example, there is absolutely no difference between the stats of the fabled and the heroic version.
The only difference is given by the godstone animation on the weapon: the blue godstone surrounds your weapon with a few big lightnings which slowly swirl around it, the golden godstone surrounds the weapon with a lot of small and fastly moving lightnings, making it more flashy.

The fact that fabled godstones are more popular than heroic ones is caused by their appearance and is therefore purely aesthetic.

 

Gold ones have double damage, non-damage godstones are the same. All the heroic ones are usually lvl 40 and the gold are minimum lvl 50, meaning they SHOULD have a slight boost in base ma. And the glow ofc, nothing else.

 

10/10 is not even 5/10. my advice go for 5/8 for blind/silence gs if is........10/10 stats are just a shop trick nowdays.

 

The appearance is the only difference.
