I wonder if he had a feeling in his gut as this was filmed that one day his voice would echo through our nations as it does today.
Actually, this is what life should be like.U.S please reduce your military budget and invest in the future of the whole world.

I mean no offence but you shouldn't even be posting this Video.
You post a video that tells you to fight to be free while irl while you don't even have the balls to support a single thread that can be considered as offensive to the staff, fearing the infractions you will receive.

This video fits perfectly to Gamez. Noone speaks here except for me and a few others like Espresso =)

This is what i've been telling people for ages. To be Free, yet, they choose the Staff Rank/Items over it.

Taking Chaplin's history, it's quite ironic that the king of silent films made such an amazing speech.

It's great. Also great thinking of the time in history if you guys knew that one. A speech like this, at the time was probably a weary thing to say coming from a communist.

Nontheless, great speech! Thanks for the share.

And it's kind of freaky to see such polarities existing at the same era.

One makes others cry, and one is everybody's favorite clown.

You can't compare this to that.

    Definitely.

Chaplin was also the type to say what he wanted, and promote it. Hence why he got banned the moment he stepped off U.S. soil. I wonder how he felt making this whole speech.

Did anyone actually watch the movie? D :

"Man is the only animal that deals in that atrocity of atrocities, War. He is the only one that gathers his brethren about him and goes forth in cold blood and calm pulse to exterminate his kind. He is the only animal that for sordid wages will march out... and help to slaughter strangers of his own species who have done him no harm and with whom he has no quarrel.... And in the intervals between campaigns he washes the blood off his hands and works for the universal brotherhood of man with his mouth.” - Mark Twain-

Thank you for sharing this. Great speech indeed. It seems to me that the world and its state never changed for the better even at the time of black and white films/TV broadcasting D: but gotten worse. But it is good how we innovated though.

Mark Twain. His work is always funny. Always has a sarcastic undertone.

Whaaaat! We're doing better now than we were during the World War II era, I'd say! Ethically, anywho. So much has changed for human rights.

In my own point of view it doesn't. War, poverty, corruption. I don't think these things were lessened, but worse. Innovation makes the world seems better now but if you look at the old and new picture of things, I see no difference.

Only last week I murdered a rock,
    injured a stone,
    hospitalized a brick.
I'm so mean, I make medicine sick!

WW II was a ****ed up moment, but poverty is the biggest murderer of all times.
